We all know that Owen is looking for us to play some more attractive football. But with West Ham away tomorrow, a team we have a sign over at the moment, would we be better to revert to more, dare I say it, Megson-esque tactics?

Kevin Davies has been a thorn in the side of the Hammers since he's been here, and had virtually all the West Ham back line in his pocket. With Petrov and Lee on opposite wings putting plenty of crosses in, would it be worth reverting to type? West Ham have yet to find a way to combat the threat posed by Davo.

I think we will be far more vulnerable if we try and play it on the deck, and far less likely to get 3 points.

Thoughts?

We'll play the way we always do against those shitbags. Just target Tomkins and Green and the rest will sort itself out.

Are you talking about the right team?

We always play the same way, long ball shite, despite what Stan Laurel says. Also, have you seen this guy Lee....he can't cross to save his life.

Tell me where:

A) I said we ARE playing attractive football

and B) Where I said Lee is good at crossing?

I was merely stating that Coyle intends to get us to play better football, not that he had yet introduced it the way he would've of liked. That's why I've questioned whether he should abandon this attempt against West Ham.

And as for Lee, plenty of potential, still work to do to improve, crossing being one area, but he's going to get plaenty of chances if we play like we normally do against West Ham. Remeber him putting in a peach of a cross for one of the goals last year.

Try and engage your brain before attempting to belittle people. Cheers Cool

You didn't go the other year when we played against Tevez then, I presume.

Kevin Davies nodded Bolton ahead from Lee Chung-Yong's cross before James Tomkins' error let in Davies to help set up Jack Wilshere's volleyed finish.

Maybe that's why he's still alive?

So you think ONE good cross makes him a great crosser of the ball?

I once scored a 25 yard volley at Deepdale but I don't think I'm world class. Mark Winstanley once scored from 40 yards against Wrexham but does that make him a long range specialist? Big Sharps once had sex with his girlfriend but does that make him straight?

One good cross does not change the fact that the previous 19 crosses didn't even reach the penalty area.

but it proves he can cross.

next you'll be telling us that 2 goals doesn't mean Johan is world class.

As far as wingers go, 1 in 20 that leads to a goal is pretty good. David Lee standard.
