As most of you know, I do the stats for BWFC on Football Manager (so you can blame me when we don't win the league every season). However, the club are less than forthcoming in terms of details relating to the academy scholars - d/o/b and position etc - so I'm throwing out an appeal to BA readers to come forward with any information that you may have on the new intake.

Cheers in advance, like Cheesy

Do you get paid for doing this?

Nah, you just get free copies of the game etc - it's not particularly labour-intensive so I don't mind.

Muamba is only fairly good in 'real' life, so I fail to see your point.

I didn't know this, but on my current game I'm entering the 4th season (from 09/10) and Bolton have just finished 8th. Granted Hristo Stoitchkov is manager but... good work! Quite a decent job that even if it's unpaid.

It's good fun, in a nerdy statistical way.

How did you ever get into doing it by the way?

I frequented the forums over there and saw that the last lad had jacked it in, so I put my name forward and got the job. You only get the files and database editors three or four times a year so it isn't particularly strenuous but you do need an eye for detail.

So it's your "fault" that Elmander is currently on 30 goals halfway through the season for me??

Elmander scored four goals in two seasons for me, three of them against Brentford in the cup, in the first season.

He went on a free in the end.
