So in conclusion, I think it's safe to say kids, Squidgy started this thread as he's bitter that some foreign blokes have driving licences and big flash cars.

I wonder how long it takes before we see cars in the sky, not flying cars, but like roads and streets in the air? above our level, with just road, but see through roads, with just air not soil between land and said roads?
It can be built, like a higher bridge, it would give so much space? there's loads of air space. obviously not to far up so there isn't any oxygen, but high enough like maybe a the size of that building in Dubai or a little lower.
Maybe they could build things up there also, and have massive poles to keep them up? these poles don't need to be a eyesore, they could be used for other things like bungee jumping and stuff, or maybe also attach really strong wires from the moon to the roads to give more support, because the moon moves it could be a moving road, it would need to be monitored though because if things are moving people could lose their way and lose direction to their destination.
It would cost billions and may cause more pollusion, but it would be cool, feeling like you're driving through the air like a bird.

I knew people in the 1970's who were regularly on LSD who used to talk like that!!l

It was just a thought, I know in some places like New York there will be trains/monorails/trams above the city or like tracks going through buildings, so you could be at work and a tram could come past, I would suspect they will be separated by sound proof glass/brick/?
I think the years of work rebuilding the underground and other areas after 9/11 has put it behind.

They had wires coming from the moon holding roads up? With roads going through houses and offices? Did some aliens appear and you chopped their heads off and fingered them? I think it was probably a dream again didles.

No the thing about the roads in the sky was just a thought, the New York stuff was real, I remember watching it.
As time goes by, more advanced technology is created, this world will look a lot different in the future, in 50 years or so our world will be different, probably a lot less years than 50.

That'll be a 'flyover' then. Go to Halifax and gaze at the wonder of it all. Otherwise, you're talking about flying cars.
