he's signing with us. end of. absolutely delighted at this news weve needed a real goalscorer all summer and that he is.  its also good to see we're in the market for another striker such as Moreno which will freshen up the side vastly.  /= Cool

How do you know?

I wouldn't see him being a regular if he did, but it would defo be something different on the bench than what we've got, especially if Klasnic does come.

http://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/8302159.Wanderers_revive_Rodrigo_swoop_hopes/

If they both do come, should we be looking to send Ward on loan again?

Elmander will seriously have to up his game.

At the end of last season I was glad Coyle didn't sign Klasnic as he's injury prone and there are better players out there.

However, after Coyle's pitiful Summer and his failure to address the defence and attack, I would welcome Klasnic back with open arms.

He's got such a great shot, he will shoot on sight if he has too, can head the ball & also a good team player and can find a pass. I really hope he returns, I didn't think we would go for him 'cos of his wages, so this is good news.

also a good team player.

Klasnic is not a team player at all, which is what I like about him.

Do you actually watch any games?

Moreno, Klasnic, Wilshere + Petrov, Alonso, Blake and almost new signings in Davis and Holden = great transfer window.

3 of your 6 haven't signed yet.  For it to be "great" I'd argue we'd need to have more than a one player improvement on last season's side.......we already had Klasnic and Wilshere at the end of the season and only Petrov will start the season from the other signings.  I'd class the list you gave as adequate, so long as Coyle sorts out central defence.

If only Andy Cole was manager.

So he's never linked well with our players has he not?

If only Andy Cole was manager.

At least Big Sharps would join you in your "out!" campaigns.  Though his chant would more likely be "send him back", but there you go.

I can't be bothered, Klasnic plenty of times set up players and passed it well near the box.

Not in my experience, but I'm not having a pop at him....I prefer selfish forwards.

Yea I think we need some proper decent back up to Cahill & Knight, AOB was good a couple of seasons back.

If say we did bring in like 3 or 4 new players.

We are gonna have some players you would expect to be on the bench in the reserves, we need to get rid of some players also.

Never seen him at least once? and I don't mind selfish forwards either. But I think Klasnic is much more than that.

I don't expect us to completely change the playing staff, but the fact remains that if we start next season with the signings we've made (and I'll include Klasnic) then we have essentially swapped Wilshere for Petrov and that's it.  For a side that was nearly relegated I don't think we can start hailing the transfers just yet.  Coyle still has work to do.

Wilshere will be playing in the emirates cup over the weekend, part of me wants him not do impress.

Klasnic managed just over 1 in 3 games for us last season, with our left side[a problem area] being improved alongside with the creativity we get from the right, I think Klasnic if he can stay fit could score well over double figures.

He linked up excellently with Wilshere whenever they both played.

He started 12 games.  In that sense he really managed just under 1 in 3 games.  His strike rate was brilliant though, given that from 12 starts he had 8 goals.  If he can stay fit then he'll score goals, but it's a big 'if'.  We may end up with our season relying as much on our physio as our manager.

Wilshere isn't coming. Deal with it.

As Az says, if we do sign Klasnic we have swapped Wilshere for Petrov which, in my opinion, makes us weaker than we were last season under Coyle. And we were bloody awful last season.

It's going to be a long hard season, I laugh out loud at the fools who suggest we won't be down the bottom again.

If he's no club atm then we can't loan, and say it would have been 60k in wages + a permanent transfer fee if he was still @ Nantes,

How much will Bolton willingly pay him?

In what sense weaker, Nat?  Do you just not rate Petrov or do you mean because he's likely to get injured?

Replacing Wilshere with Petrov is not a bad thing, both are quality. Petrov is ours for more than one season and it's only his injury record that's the problem.
