Amusing considering it was you who first stated that players don't want to work with Coyle and it was you who first said that Petrov was just one of hundreds of players. Surely you'd have to have some insider info to come up with that kind of bullshit, sorry info.

I regularly speak with a coach at a North West Premiership side. It's not Bolton, but he has links and knows what is going on.

Why would a coach from another club have any idea what Bolton's transfer dealings were, unless his own club was involved?

Many coaches work for more than one club.

So a Bolton coach could also go to Natasha's friends club to coach.

The coach I know isn't involved with coaching at Bolton, but he has strong links to BWFC.

I've never said he knows who Coyle is targeting, but he does know that Coyle is stuggling to sell Bolton to players....1) because we are known for long ball shite 2) because no one has heard of Coyle.

True.  But if he was blabbing about our market activity he'd find himself out of a job pretty quickly.

Fair enough.  So far we haven't actually heard anything about us being rejected and the player we have signed had other options yet said he looked forward to working with Coyle and his more attacking Bolton.  At the minute I'm going with what Petrov has said rather than your source.

How about he's struggling to sell Bolton players not because they are known for long ball shite, but because they are shite and would be lucky to ride the bench of a Championship side.

Coyle isn't struggling to attract players at all.

Klasnic wants to come.

But he wants what has been described to me as "the equivalent of what we'd have paid Nantes as a signing on fee and silly wages".

Which I guess makes him fairly expensive for a player who will be unlikely to play week in week out for 90 minutes.

As fans we get frustrated with these things, but I wouldn't want Bolton giving out a massive deal that leaves us stumped in a years time if he hasn't delivered or is injured (like we are now with Shittu, Riga, Samuel and the like).

Wait a sec, I could understand that Coyle's reputation as an unproven manager could prevent him signing players, which was something you claimed previously, but offloading players? Really? How does Coyle's reputation prevent him selling players?

The long ball shite could prevent other clubs who play passing football signing our cast offs, but Coyle didn't sign these players nor did he ingrain that style of football in them, so I cannot see how he can be blamed for that.

Surely, if Coyle is regarded as poorly in the game as you would have us believe, then the likes of Samuel, Riga, Shittu etc would want to get away for fear their reputation being damaged by association.

Read the fcuking post again you ponce. I said he is struggling to SELL BOLTON TO PLAYERS, not sell Bolton players.

My source says Coyle has approached loads of foreign players but has been knocked back because of our long ball reputation or the fact they've never heard of Coyle.

I don't think thats true at all. I don't think we've been turned down by "loads" of players. I think we've struggled to afford many.

But from what I've been told the ones we've had real firm interest in are...

Petrov..Signed
Alonso..Signed
Blake..Signed
Rodrigo..Gone to Benfica instead.
Wilshere..Arsene wants to keep him
Klasnic..?
Di Santo..Chelsea want to loan him to a club in Holland.
Nugent..Not made a firm bid, not encouraged to do so by Pompey.
NGog..Liverpool want to keep him for now and we can't afford to buy him outright.

Not exactly a trail of players rejecting us.

Klasnic deal is actually less likely as by cancelling his contract he lost out, so is now after more money and we aren't prepared to pay it.

Unless he agreed a deal with Nantes to pay him off.  He can then make up the difference in the deal he agrees with his next club and lose nothing.

I have an awful feeling he will be at Newcastle come the beginning of the season.  With the cancelling of his contract, many teams around us will be alerted by his "free agent" status and perhaps try and snap him up.  Come on Gartside we need a real predator up front and thats what he is.  Pull out all the stops!

Is this the same source that told you "Alan Irvine was nailed on to be new Bolton manager after Megson".You live in a dream world, how anyone can take you seriously is beyond my comprehension.

Irvine was offered the Bolton job but chose Sheffield Wednesday over us as he felt they had more potential. I'm sure he regrets that decision now.

Not every manager thinks Bolton is the pinnacle of his career Martin. When someone finally turns Sheffield Wednesday back into a decent side they will be a hero in that city.
