Ok...So I have a childhood fave, who was a bit of a donkey, and a teenage hero...and now a more mature player!

When I was 4, my uncle took me to my first ever Bolton Wanderers game. *altogether now* awwww
And for my 5th birthday he said I can have a Bolton top WOOOOO!!...and he asked what player I wanted on the back...I wanted Mixu Paatelainen. Not Cox. Or Lee. Paatelainen, possibly the longest name I could've picked!! Good old Mixu manages Hibs now!

Then my next best player, was, of course, the legend that is Super John McGinlay!!!

And now, finally, the dawn of a new era haha! players have come and gone, retired and quit thru injury...My fave Bolton player is!! *Drum roll please* The one...The only!! Ricardooooooooo Gardner! LEGEND. gives 5000% everytime he puts his Bolton shirt on, ok, he has a bit of a 50p foot, but if you want dedication, then look no further. Mr. Quite man of the Bolton team, Testimonial in a year or so, you know I'm first in line for my ticket!! All remember when he had his Sisqo hair...could never miss him on the pitch! With his silver fro

So, who is your fave player, and why?

I have a few, when I first started going ( i was about 4 or 5 at the time) Tony Philliskirk was the man...but then theres the legend that is David Lee and Andy Walker...The best player we have ever had at the reebok can only really be in recent time and I would had to say its between Djorkaeff, Anelka, Jay Jay and Eidur Gudjohnsen

My fav player of all time is SUPER JOHN MCGINLAY! ... i went to the last match at burnden park and we won the match 4-1 with John baggin a goal or so and when the match finished he approached my direction and he threw his shirt at me i had half of shirt of course but the problem was the child stood next to me snatched it off me so i was not best pleased about that ... n e way few yrs down the line i got a job @ Morrisons , Mornington Road ( Atlas Mills ) Bolton age 16 then i seen this big bloke walk round on to the fresh food section where i was working he had a hat on it was pulled down so u could not see his face .. he looked up n said do u know where ur shortcrust pastry is so i replyed yes follow me .. so i took him to where it was then  i knew who it was so i said very quietly ur my all time football hero .. he just looked at me then smiled .. John said thank you i take it u support Bolton.. i replyed Big fan he shook my hand n said r u gonna go to the the Reebok and watch some games i said of course,John then replyed wiv any ways it been great to catch up on our football team i wish them well better be off  nice chattin wiv ya but gtg ....So for the 3 yrs i spent a Morrisons on chorley old road Bolton SUPER JOHN MCGINLAY just kept shoppin there n sayin hello everytime he saw me

Mark Gavin's my favourite player ever just for backing me and 2 mates up when it kicked off at York.

And the obvious ones like Jay Jay, Youri, Anelka, pluys the less obvious, Gudni, Jussi, Steve Thompson, Paul Jones, etc etc

In all honesty, I don't know anything about this guy.

I was born in '89 and I see he played for us from '85 to '87 so he's before my time.

Also before my time was Lofthouse, probably the greatest player we've ever had. So during my 19 year spell I'd say Djorkaeff based on pure talent alone.

Mark Gavin was a winger who played with his heart on his sleeve, and in the team we had then was a good player.
