It's time to make a stand.
No longer can the uneducated be allowed to drag this site down to the level of a 5 year old.
Just have a look at the most recent threads in either Reebok Rant or General Banter.....I'd say 75% of it is gibberish written by plebs who can't write in basic English. I accept we can't all be Azreal88 or pfk but for the love of God isn't it about time we ditched these imbeciles who can't make themselves understood?
A non-profit football forum shouldn't be about the number of threads or posts, it should be about quality. Look at The-Wanderer, probably the best Bolton forum in terms of quality writing. Yes, it has its share of dummies but overall the people who can write in English far outweigh the plebs. It is the reverse on here. Cathy still hasn't grasped the difference between "your" and "you're" despite being told a million times. Jayjay23 hasn't used a capital letter in over 300 posts and continues to spell "defence" with an "s". Didle, MartinBwfc, jamster etc are equally as guilty.
I realise manny isn't brave enough to ban the dummies so here's a compromise: a VIP-only area for the educated amongst us. Manny can create another sub-board called "clever banter" or similar which can only be accessed by a password. I'm thinking the VIP-only area should have the following members:
Manny
Sluffy
Natasha
Chris Rabz
Jimbo
Pfk
Keegan
Pedersen
DaveBWFC
Azreal88
Traf
Imagine the deep conversations we could have without Didle posting photos of dancing cats and jayjay writing page after page of nonsense.
