Just call be numb as f'cuk if you like but why is it that if the only reason for friendlies is improving fitness levels, a team from 2 divisions below like Rochdale can match a Premiership team in both fitness and skills?

I haven't seen any of the top 6 or 8 Premiership teams draw or lose any of their friendlies to date so is it about mental toughness?

Just a couple of examples from today.

kaiserslautern 1-0 Liverpool

Man City 0-2 Sporting Lisbon

Sure it's great to win, but the result isn't really that important in friendlies, they can help towards building a teams understanding and gelling new players in the team but mainly they're for fitness , conditioning and getting players match prepared for the new season.

I don't give a shite about drawing with League 1 sides. I don't give a shite about parading round a pitch with a trophy stolen from a bunch of non-league teams on penalties.

What I do give a shite about is the complete lack of quality in our "squad". With only three weeks to go until the big kick-off Coyle has made it quite clear it's going to be the same old shite, only worse without Wilshere & Klasnic.

If Megson had been in charge you'd be wanting his head on a stick. If we're not rooted in the bottom 3 come the end of September I will be amazed.

Ah, now I'm not having that. Newcastle are definitely not top 6 or 8, apart from in their own deluded imaginations.

Dean Windass or Rob Earnshaw being the answer? Probably an unfair dig, for which I apologise.

Whilst I agree that the striking options are distinctly underwhelming, it is probable that the finances will only allow one or more to be brought in once some deadwood has been cleared. It does seem remarkable that we have never successfully developed a young gun through the youth system/academy so it must be down to coaching to some degree.

Edit - fixed quote.

I think most people would now be happy if Earnshaw signed....at least he has a bit of pace and a few goals in him.

Have you been watching the arrows this evening? I had to turn off when those 'women' came on. How ugly were they?

I watched the first game as I tire of watching that smug potteries wanker stroll to another victory, I actually thought it was some sort of Prisoner cell block H tribute act and turned it off, I dont think anybody has a lower opinion about wimmin playing sport than me.

Thing is, were they wimmin? I couldn't decide. They looked like some sort of mutated experiment.

The english one looked like she had the kind of addiction to gash that would make a smackhead look down on her and the American one looked like the kind of woman that Squidgy pulls.

hmm ok, discounting the fact it is now a spelling contest and munter is a word! are you not boring even yourself by going on and on about Earnshaw yet?

Is Munichwum a word? or completefuckingidiot? you are so very tiresome but almost strangely amusing in your predictability!

Ten posts a day consistently over years and still fcúk all to say of any interest apart from a bit of a wind up here and there.

I agree completely because she is clearly wasting her time trying to wind you or anybody else up, I really am at a loss to why she continues with this act.

Most people? do you have a split personality disorder or do you actually know more people who would like Rob Earnshaw in a Wanderers shirt because in all honesty I don't.

I get your point Sharps but being a missing link between a desk and a laptop is hardly entertaining is it? surely not even to the type of person who has nothing else in their life. There is a reason why people respond to the crap it posts but whats the reason to post it to start with? any idea's?
