He is probably phoning OC up right now asking if their is anyway of him coming back here, poor bastard an understudy to Chris Kirkland, what a joke he is twice the keeper Kirkland is IMO.

I really don't know what to say, seriously I don't. One of the best goalkeepers to ever grace the premiership never mind our club and your saying he is worse than Al Habsi.....the club disgust you?....well you sir disgust me!

Aaron, Al Habsi is a superb keeper, he should be our number 1. There is no shame in being a worse keeper than Habsi.

Kirkland will not be playing all season, he's a right crock, whereas Jussi'll probably be playing in almost everyone barring some freak incident.

Given Kirkland's performances vs Blackpool and today, I'd say Ali's mum is probably a better 'keeper than Kirkland right now.  Kirkland's position is just bad beyond all rational explanation.

After Jussi's performances thus far this season, no he shouldn't.

Both could be our number 1 keeper to be fair it was just Habsi's luck that he has come to bolton when we have the 3rd best keeper in the league in my opinion behind Cech and Van der sar.

Jussi has been one of the best in the Prem for 10 years now.  Ali had a few good games, but there's no way he has the right to displace Jussi.  Ali is still unproven at this level, even though he looks an excellent player.

Speaking of BWFC keepers did anybody see that peice in the Bolton News this week about Brannigan's son at bury?....

Let's hope he turns out to be at the same standard of keeper his dad was.

Jussi has been in the top 5 keepers in the prem for years we should appreciate the fact we have such a quality keeper at our  club not picking holes in him

I doubt anyone will be doing that for at least two days.

Interesting thought: in the thread about Coyle having to sell before he can buy, Coyle mentions a loan fee for Ali.  Now, if Football Manager is to be believed, you can't recall players if a loan fee is involved.  Can anyone confirm this?  If that's true I'd be a bit worried if Jussi gets a long-term injury.

Average Championship?

While Keith is a bit of a leg-end for me as that Rioch team was the one that first got me hooked he was far too short to cut the mustard at the very top level nowadays. He was under 6 foot wasn't he?

I remember us playing Stockport and he jumped to get a cross and still didn't reach the top of Kevin Francis's head...

Anyhow, we've already sacked him off, Bury is his 3rd or 4th club isn't it?
