I know it does not help much but as I failed to watch the games I did with any interest, I honestly could not name a player who I thought was best.

Forlan get's my vote, he pretty much got them to the semi-finals by himself and i've always thought he is a cracking player.

My choices...but why's Mueller not on the list? He scored 5 and created about that many, too:
1. Schweinsteiger
2. Villa
3. Mueller
4. Klose
5. Forlan

I'm surprised they got as high as 10. Only Sneijder even came close to standing out, but like Sharps I found it hard to care really when most of the games were so rubbish.
