South Korea 0-1 Uruguay, Suarez and set up by IMO the player of the tournament so far Diego Forlan.

Sadly, he's not listening. Bolton's own LCY has just scored an equaliser for S. Korea!

Good lad!

On the bright side, LCY can have a rest now... quality lad.

Ae you a bit simple?

Why good lad, he is our player and he aint much use to us knackered at the start of the season.  The fact he is going home can only be good for Bolton Wanderers.

Uruguay are a dangerous side when they attack but for some reason do what the italian sides do and sit back and defend when they take the lead instead of going for the 2nd.

As much as J wanted Korea to win as I have them in the sweepstake I must agree with you Sharps that it has definatly gone in BWFC's favour Lee is on his way back or he would have been fucked at the start of the season.

Am getting the strong feeling of Ghana for winning becase was very unlucky when they play Germany and they look strong today also  when beating USA.

Ghana had the first half but the USA came back in the 2nd half.  Poor selection by Bradley.  He should have started the players that won their last game.

The US's luck finally ran out.  At least if/when we are kicked out it will be by Germany and not an average Ghana team.  I'm glad the US is out of the WC before us.   Cheesy

Well done to LCY with his goal today.  Time to put your feet up for 2-3 weeks (or whatever time off he needs to rest himself).

I would not call the Ghana team average, They are very strong at the back and have a good threat up top in that number 3. I wonder why he is number 3? He's a striker!

I like to see Bolton players do well at the WC. It doesn't happen very often! Besides, even if they made it to the final, which was very unlikely, it's only another two weeks and three matches. Hardly an excessive workload despite all his previous games. Still have plenty of time for a rest!

On none world cup years a player would just toddle off for a 6 week holiday till the beginning of July, He has spent the last 6 weeks training and playing in the world cup so he is probably going to get till about the end of July off thus meaning he cant have a proper pre-season with us.

But no, having him their long is more beneficial to BWFC. cretin.

When did I say it was more beneficial to BWFC? I didn't. Just that I like to see our players do well. Sadly, for Bolton, Lee was already in the group stage matches, we had no control over that. Another couple wouldn't hurt, especially how they're more spaced out. I don't see how all of 13 days extra 'rest', and that is the very most, would make any real difference but whatever you say. I guess Stelios must have been knackered all season following Euro 2004. Maybe that was why England went out early so they could bag themselves some extra lie ins.

I'm with DH on this one. At worst if South Korea went all the way and won it Chungy would have only been there for an extra fortnight. Hardly going to make much difference to his Bolton preparations and to be honest if all our hopes of a good start are solely resting on him then we are going to have a season of struggle again.

It's great to see a Wanderer making some headlines in a World Cup, just a shame for him his goals never actually got SK a result.

I dont understand how you are failing to grasp that regardless of how far Korea got he has been training and playing in a world cup while the others have had their feet up, he was already making himself more disadvantaged by being out in south africa, the longer they was in it would make it worse for us as he will have less time to rest and relax.

What, didn't I say?

Sorry, but yes I do, more precise just 30 mins outside Amsterdam (The countries 7th largest city - Almere and actually live in Almere Stad, opposite the Media Markt and Almere Lake)
