Robinson for captain

« on: 24 June 2010, 07:55 AM »

Does anyone know whats going on with Aaron Mooy? Im Australian, and because of our early exit from the World Cup, I'm already looking to 2014. Since I have heard decent things about Mooy I was just wondering if anyone here knew anything about him. Does anyone rate him? Does anyone know if hes gotten a senior contract? Does anyone think he'll break into the first team anytime soon?

He got injured towards the end of the season but had a disappointing year really scoring one goal in 15 appearances for the reserves.
As of now, he is probably Bolton's 2nd most promising attacking reserves player.A young lad called Michael O'Halloran had a better season.
A year ago Mooy was the star in the Bolton team that got to the last 8 of the Youth Cup.This was the first time the club had got so far since the early 1970s but he hasn't progressed. If Mooy has another season like this one, I doubt he will be offered a professional contract at the club.

He got one, along with O'Halloran, on the day that Vaz Te and Harsanyi were released

Only watched him play twice... both times he played well great shot on him, but he is greedy and wastes a lot of chances.

can't really blame him though playing at that level.

That's good news which I missed, I like watching him play despite the harsh comments.

Well on top of his professional contract he is earning suspicious bonuses from GC according to his facebook page.

"cahill thankyou for that 500 cash"

I hope he didn't have to do anything too sinister for it. I know they are all rich but I thought fagging went out of style in the 1980's.

If I see him on FB later I'll ask him about it.
