Quality performance, could have been 6+

You are joking right? We played well for 10 minutes after the goal and that was it....the other 80 minutes was a continuation of the Algeria game. RUBBISH!

Defoe - scored but did absolutely nothing else. A passenger.

Gerrard - learn to hold onto the ball you scouse wanker.

Lampard - Did you play, don't remember you doing anything. Oh yeah, you missed that open goal.

Rooney - Stump. If Heskey had missed the chances he did everyone would be going mental. The guy is a choker.

Glenda Johnson - You are the shittest player I have ever seen in an England shirt. You make Michael Ricketts look like Pele.

Barry - Holding player? I'd like to hold your neck between my bare hands you overated scumbag.

The second half was a disgrace. No urgency and absolutely no craft or skill. Hence why we'll end up playing Germany and flying home Sunday night.

I'm embarrassed to be English.

Regardless of the England national team there is alot more to being english than a football match, the flag of st george should be forever not just for sport.

We had chances galore and passed it around very nicely on a very poor pitch, its hard to judge against a small team like Slovenia, but we outplayed and out created them, we had chances in both halfs, Lampard, Gerrard, Rooney, Defoe, Terry, all great chances.

We take our chances and pass it around like we did, we will give a lot of teams a great game.

Didle, I admire your positive nature but if we'd been playing Argentina, Brazil, Spain or Germany we'd have been thrashed.

We have too many players out of form at the same time.

The first 10mins were shocking but after the goal I thought we passed it around alright, nothing special but ok.

The defence is my worry when it comes to facing the better sides as Upson and Terry have no pace, Johnson is always out of position.

Glad we are through but much work to be done im afraid.

How do you know? we haven't even conceded a goal yet, well we did against USA but that was a mistake, a team hasn't done anything yet to score against us. We also created so many chances, all the best teams have had moments of trouble, some more than others.

We should now have confidence and we can beat any team, we have the players and hopefully now the negatives are out of the way.

Imagine all the games Bolton would have won if your logic applied.

My point is England can take confidence that we have gone through without conceding a goal the other team deserved, we have a better keeper in goal who has looked solid and we have just played really well.

And also yes if Bolton cut out the mistakes and get the luck and with better players like Petrov we can finish top 10+, refs and mistakes cost Bolton so many points.

But then you wouldn't have had anything to go off to say Coyle out, would you?

I've started to sober up a bit now but I was pretty pissed up during the match but to me it looked like England played well....?

I hope we get Germany in the next round. No matter how far we go we're bound to end up playing a decent side at some point. We might as well go for them now than the chance of losing to Ghana.

COME ON ENGLAND

Well we're through. Not a lot else, but that'll do for now. Nice one Yanks for making damn sure I'd be at work for the next round though, much appreciated.

Quite the opposite for me, I needed them to score or I would have been in work! Also had a bet on USA 1st, us 2nd at the start of the tournament...so I was quite pleased with Landon in the end!

By the way Sharps will be happy to know I stood up and applauded John Terry when it looked like they were going to score and he through himself in front of it. Twice.

Quality.

I'm waiting for someone to photoshop that with Terry has superman. He might be a idiot in his personal life, but he has so much pride & passion when he plays football.

When I saw the replay of him doing it the second time though while he was on the ground, I laughed my head off but brilliant effort on his part to try and prevent a goal.

You have to praise the lad, fantastic defender when it comes down to it, even though he got away with the clearest handball fcuking ever! (Chelsea v Bolton)
