A win in our next game and we are through - but we aren't playing well!
Who was our biggest failure tonight though?

They were all shite, but Glenda Johnson put in a staggering performance at right back.

Voted for Rooney but I didn't scroll down far enough to see Capello was an option. He would be my pick.

I voted for Capello.
Capello's the one that is working with them.
Capello's the one that (despite saying he'd only play form players) played out of form/ability/etc. players.
Capello's the one that selected to take no-marks to South Africa.
Capello's the one that refuses to sub Terry, Lampard, Gerard, Rooney, no matter how poor they are.
Capello's the one that obviously has something against Joe Cole!

Shrek, both during and aftter the match.
I don't think there is any concievable way he could of let the fans down more (apart from being sent off).

The last few seasons at Bolton we bacame quite used to fans going on forums/local radio making comments like-
Leave it to the manager, he knows best or He's with them all week, he knows better than anyone how to get things right or What do you know, you're only a fan. What have you ever won?
I always felt those arguements were worthless and Capello proved it yet again.
Managers don't always know best. The weaker ones insist on always playing undroppable favourites. It's too easy to omit or sub fringe players, those with a lesser profile. Managers often get the hump when they think players have been disloyal. Megson was often guilty of this and now Joe Cole appears to be getting the " frozen out " treatment. And finally, Capello has that same " deer caught in a headlight " look we saw so often with Megson when there is no Plan B. Disgraceful they gave that bloke a new contract two weeks ago.

I am actually with Westander on this one!
Last nights match was pure Bolton under Megson - pathetic and disgraceful
My only saving grace was that I was drunk for the match already and my mind was elsewhere, anyway.

Can we have a multi vote? The three worst were Rooney, Glen Johnson and Lampard. Aaron Lennon wasn't far behind either.

Heskey, for his constantly throwing himself on the floor, even when he's got a chance on, the big girl.
