Post edited by Manny due to licensing reasons. The fixtures for the 2010/11 Premier League season have been released and Bolton will begin at home to Fulham.
The two sides couldn't be seperated last season, with a 1-1 draw at Craven Cottage in November and a controversial goalless draw at the Reebok Stadium in February.
Following that game is a trip to West Ham United and then a home tie with Birmingham City.
With trips to Arsenal and Aston Villa, followed by a home game with Manchester United, September looks to be the toughest month of the season for Owen Coyle's side.
Wanderers will host newly promoted West Bromwich Albion on Boxing Day, before travelling to Anfield on New Years' Day to face Liverpool.
Manchester City will come to the Reebok on Sunday 22nd May 2011, the final day of the season, just eight days after Wanderers play their final away match, at Blackpool.

We have to be looking at 6 points from those first three games. The fixtures have been kind to us (as they were last year). Lets not mess it up this time.

Because it is the opening match of the season I don't think Bolton will drop prices against Fulham to a tenner as they normally do and will therefore get a poor gate around 18,000.
Blackpool's first match in the Prem is at home to Wigan, about as glamorous as the trip to Wimbledon we got.

I don't know about everybody else but I am seriously looking forward to taking some points off the big boys this year. With Coyle in charge, the mindset must be we can beat anybody.

Decent first 3 games to be fair and we prob need to get at least 6 points considering who we have after that.

Arsenal, Villa and United in September is tough so we need to get off to a good start to avoid being bottom at the start of October.
Like others have said, we need to be looking at six points from the first three. To do this, I think we need to win both home games and if we can go to West Ham and get something, it'd be a huge bonus and confidence boost.
Bit gutted that Blackpool away is so late on but hopefully we're already safe by then so we can go there and have a good time by making a weekend of it.

Its a bit shíte that both blackpool and blackburn are so late on in the season but hopefully the fact I got a ticket for that one will give me a better chance of getting one for Blackpool.
I might go down anyway even I dont get a ticket just for the piss up and try to find a pub which is showing the game.

I hope so. We could really do with that mindset and points in September.

The 3 opening fixtures have been kind to us and if we are not on at least 6 points after them then september may make grim reading.
Liverpool vs Arsenal and Utd vs Newcastle opening fixtures, something tells me we won't be on sky against fulham.

Bottom 3 by end of September...guaranteed.
Draw at home to Fulham (as always), lose at West Ham and maybe get a draw against Birmingham.
Lose every game in September.
Coyle out!

Hmmm...Anyway moving on from Miss Depression FM over here this comment made me laugh on west hams 606 page (just went on to see what they thought about us in the 2nd game. comment by ScotsHammer (U3113143) posted 31 Minutes Ago
Not bad for us?!!
Unless we kidnap Kevin Davies, it's quite feasible that we could lose our first six matches!!!
Aston Villa v West Ham, 15:00 West Ham v Bolton, 15:00

Great start to season. 7-9pts from first three games please. Running into a hard September but on a high, chance of a few shock results.
West Ham could quite feasibly be on 0pts after six games. Brilliant.

Come on Natasha, light your optimism, it is too dark; West Ham is a banker 3 points.

Home, yes, away, not so sure on that one. I've not had many happy away days re: the score down there recently.

West Ham will have a decent manager and have spent a few quid.
We'll have Stan Laurel and Johan Elmander.

I don't understand the appeal of Avram Grant. His league form at Pompey was worse than Paul Hart.

They could have mourinho as manager at that place for all I care but it would still be Gold & Sullivan calling the shots and fcuking it up as usual.

Get real. The club was in turmoil. He kept the players together and got them to the FA Cup final. And if it wasn't for the points deduction he may well have kept them up.

Stop making fcuking excuses. For someone who claims to not tolerate failure, why do you make excuses for Grant? What was his objective? To keep them up? Otherwise, why not accept the innevitable and stick with Hart? Did he keep them up? No. Therefore, he's a failure.
He failed at Pompey. Anyone could have got that team relegated. A real manager would have made a fight of it. Regardless of the points penalties, they would still have been relegated. In fact, they started to pick up more points after the penalty was imposed. All he did was bleat and moan about it instead of motivating the players. Channel the sense of injustice into positive action. Instead, he made idle threats about resting players. Excellent man management. He knew the size of the job when he took it on.
Who gives a shíte about the FA Cup. It's a cup competition. A bit of luck can take you a long way. Just like it did when Birmingham had a perfectly good goal ruled out. Had that goal stood, considering Birimingham's defensive record, he could have easily got them to the quarter finals of the cup AND saw them relegated. Robson took Boro to two cup finals and got them relegated due to a points reduction, is he a good manager? Idiot!
A real manager gets judged on his league form. He finished bottom. It's that simple. Perennial runner up (in this case to both Hull, Burnley and West Ham).

Firstly, when he took over they hadn't been deducted 10 points so the job looked a bit easier. And your comment about the FA Cup is ridiculous...I'm sure most Bolton fans would be fcuking chuffed to be in the Cup Final.
