Well it's a 4 way tie at the top after the first day and my football knowledge has been shown up by getting a big fat 0!

Hasn't updated the scores from the Uruguay France game yet.

It has now and I see you're the out and out leader so far and I'm still left behind on 0.

One out of two, not bad really and to be honest against ten men Uruguay France shouldn't be drawing 0-0. So much for my wildcard shout. Tomorrow's games I've gone for Greece, Argies, England. Not a chance Nigeria will get anything there I'm afraid, even if they had Okocha in his prime. S.Korea/Greece could go either way but the Koreans have always struggled away from their homeland... and if England don't win tomorrow we'll never hear the fcuking end of it from them since it's probably the only thing we still do better than the Yanks.

Don't let me down guys.

Got all three right today so that's pushed me up into second place. Enjoy your lead while it lasts Didle!

Didle still going great guns at the top, I've slipped to mid-table now with a few poor predictions, particularly Greece and Serbia letting me down - and of course England but I'm not the only one they've let down. Gone for Holland, a draw between Japan and Cameroon, and a shock draw with Italy and Paraguay. It's unlikely but gives a good chunk of points if it comes off and will get me right back in the title race if it goes right.

I messed up with mine... forgot to bloody put it on. And you've struck lucky really because it would have gone on that Italy game. Not to worry, it's now gone on Chile but I've alread had my wildcard prediction really for the first round.

Come on Slovakia tomorrow. Beat NZ wins me something like 170 points with the joker.

Well I was eventually wrong about the NZ-Slovak game but I'm quite happy to be if it means we have a bit of drama in the tournament. I now need the big boys Portugal and Brazil to keep me on solid ground. Portugal are also my main sweep entry so I really will be cheering them on this afternoon!

Just had another look at this and things have changed quite a bit since the second round of games started.

I'm well out infront in terms of points over this round, but rabz is holding out at the top. What happened Didle?!

I'm having a shocking 2nd round  :'( I won round 1 but I could easily find myself near the bottom if my poor predictions from the last few days carry on.

Just had a trawl back through my predictions and seen how I've got so many points.

I had the joker on Serbia beating Germany so got a tidy 194 points out of it. The number of 0's on there means I won't stay up there long!

Not bad, not bad. Marathon not a sprint and all that but nice to be Billy Big Spuds for a while. My joker came off aswell with the USA's late show against Slovenia, had their third counted though I'd definitely be second. A few shocks I didn't see but I don't think many did - England, Italy, Germany (Manny aside) and even France.

A great start to Round 3 for me with all but one result being right - and the one wrong was France. Anyone else who predicted correctly only got the Argentina result right and as a result I open up a 49-point gap at the top. Keep up!

With the group stages now done with, make your predictions for the last 16 before tomorrow's games to help with the point scoring.

I have well and truly swept up on the Ghana game.

Picked off 90 something points for draw. 90 something points for picking 1-1 and another 80 something for the corners.

Cheers Gyan!

Damn, laziness got the better of me and I didn't even make any predictions for the first two quarters. Great shout there though Jimbo. Argentina for the early game and then in an attempt to close the gap again I've actually gone for a Paraguay win over Spain, on penalties, after a goalless 120 minutes. And it is my joker, so if it comes off then it should fire me right back to the top again.

Well done Jimbo, Bronze will do  Cool

I actually forgot to do predictions for Holland v Brazil, but it wouldn't have made any difference.
