That's a crap poll, what about kill him?
Elmander is crap. He's had two seasons to show he can do it and he's failed every single time. If we give him any more chances we'll be battling relegation once again.

By Killing him we would lose 8 mill. Surely you would rather recoup some money and then eliminate him from the face of the earth. Im sticking to my guns though, id prefer to keep him because I honestly believe since Coyle has come, he has had a new feel for the game and you can see it in his body language. He can finish we saw it in the cup but he just needs some fcuking confidence, a good pre season will provide that.

Sorry matty but what makes you think he's going to suddenly convert those easy chances he's been missing for two seasons?
At least if we killed him we wouldn't have to pay his wages any longer.

We should cash in on him. He has had two full seasons to prove that hes a good goalscorer, but failed every single game.
But unfortunatly he is staying

How? We wouldn't get 10p for him.

Flog him. I'd be happy if we got a quid as long as we stop paying him stupid wages. He has done nothing for two years. Be very dissapointed if he stays. Even more pissed off that he can run off with his tail between his legs at the end of the season on a free. Wanker.

I'd love to believe that there's a great player in Elmander who just needs to get some confidence, but the simple truth is, he's crap and Megson wasted lots of money on him.
Get rid now and hope we can trick a French club into giving us some of our money back!

I voted for play him behind Klas and Davies but really I think we should just get rid or release him in the wild because he isn't premier league level in a million years.

1,000,000th Elmander thread we've had on here, I'll sum up again.
- Elmander is not good enough - We could probably get £4m from a French club - Cash in now

£4m? I take it they don't get Sky Sports in France.

There was talk of John Utaka going back to France for like £3m, he's in the exact situation as Elmander, moving to England for £8m from France and doing sod all, and he's probably done less than Elmander and Pompey are in the financial shíte!

Get rid asap, he isn't good enough for the Premier League and is wasting a place in our team that somebody with more ability could be taking.
If any club will pay his wages i'd even let them have him on a free transfer to get him off our wagebill.

We should sell now because I cannot think of anything more infuriating than sack of shite swanning off somewhere new with a massive signing on fee in hand for doing fcúk all for us 3 years and who the fcúk signs a player for 8 million and only ties him down for 3 bloody years.

Agreed he'll never good enough for Premier league. Give away and save the wages. He'll be gone in ayear anyway. Get rid asap, he isn't good enough for the Premier League and is wasting a place in our team that somebody with more ability could be taking.

Where's the option of Coyle signing a pacey striker who likes to get beyond the last man, dropping static KD and playing Elmander in his more natural role as a link-up forward where he has someone he can play in in-front of him?
Just a thought.

Pound for pound, the worst player ever to wear the white shirt.
Will be remembered most for fiddling with his socks, giving the thumbs up when he again blazes over an empty net, crying when his number comes up as usual on 60 minutes and chickening out of headers.

I think he will mostly be remebered for going to ground and looking like a fallen puppy at the referee in the off chance he pitys him and gives him a free kick.

Cut our losses, get rid. We need to learn our lessons from what's happened with Vaz Te. Just because you keep playing someone and change the manager every so often it doesn't turn a bad player into a good one. There isn't an argument for him staying in my eyes.
