....Fabrice Muamba has somehow made it on there along with John Terry and Adebayor  Huh

Winning 2 major competitions obviously doesn't count for much these days.

I've already had it out with him. He ended up pretty much admitting he had no idea about Muamba and that he was wrong to put him in.

What the fcúk is goal.com? That sounds like a terrible website to match a terrible article.

Muamba isn't exactly a world beater! But FFS, he isn't as bad as that guys making out!

Surely Elmo should be in his list though....

Haha. They should get the supporters to decide their clubs worst player, and have 11 + 5 subs maybe. It would make a lot more sense and people might actually read it.

Sir Nut 2?

My favourite ever post by Sir Nut by the way was on The Wanderer;

Why can't you stand him Faroe? He's been a different player this season and has been fantastic for us.

He probably has not seen Bolton since last season.... Anyway the only way to change his mind is probably to sell Muamba and see us concede twice as many goals as this season.

Some people just don't like the "water carrier" players, but Muamba is vital to everything we do.  When he's subbed off we get torn apart and lose our shape.  You wouldn't want two of him in a side, but we need the one we have.  Megson actually signed some very good players for us, let's hope Coyle can actually get them to look good on the pitch.

Every team needs a Muamba type player.

He's even shown he can be our 'English Okocha' with the skill against Wigan  Cool

i have said it many times before. He cant pass a ball, and is no threat to the other team. Get another holding midfielder who can also be used to build up attacks.

I think we are the only team who has this Muamba type player. I dont see any other holding midfielders who misses so many passes and are so bad going forward.

I could not belived my eyes whith those skills against Wigan. I had to see it again before i belived it was Muamba Cool

Muamba actually has an 84% Pass Completion rate this season which is actually rather good, so to say he can't pass (which, I'll hold my hands up, I've done) is actually incorrect.

What about the numerous times in a game Muamba will break forward with the ball and run past 2 or three of their midfielders with pure athletisism and pace. None of our other central midfielders can do that.

Muamba has had a terrific season and has improved his attacking game a lot. To say otherwise is booshit.

Completely disagree. Since Coyle came he has been building up most of our attacks by tackling, then dribbling it up the Field and laying it off to the winger.

He's not supposed to be a threat, his job is to stop the threat of the opposition. And to say we're the only team with a holding midfielder goes to show how clueless you actually are, not just about Bolton but the teams Bolton face every week. Off the top of my head, without even thinking:

Chelsea - John Obi Mikel
Spurs - Huddlestone
Wigan - Hendry Thomas
Liverpool - Mascherano

I could go on, but anyone with an ounce of sense gets the idea.

I don't know about him not having an attacking threat. I find myself saying at least twice a game something along the lines of "what a great chance, shame it fell to Muamba", he somehow manages to find himself in them positions. Just because he doesn't light the scoreboard up with 10-15 goals in a season doesn't mean he isn't a good player for us.

Like I've said before though if you don't go (for whatever reason) then I don't really know how you can effectively judge any of our players. We aren't on TV more than half a dozen times a season so if you don't see them how do you actually know of what you speak?

Because i dont have the same channels like you. Thats why i can judge every player. 28 of Boltons 38 games were on TV here. I dont know why you have to say i dont see any games or have never been at the Reebok. Of those 28 i saw at least 25 and was at the Reebok once.

Howfen - not to piss on your parade, but Huddlestone isn't a destroyer type at all.  Hudd is a deep-lying playmaker.  The ball winner for Spurs is Palacios. The others are right though.

what i mean is i think we have the worst one. Campo could always get the ball and pass it alaround the field. Our players are afraid of giving the ball to Muamba, because he is shíte when he is on the ball.
