Hate it. The start sounds like Christmas and the rest just sounds like a betrayal of a classic. Baddiel & Skinner should have bought exclusive rights to this or kept hold if they had them. I pity the generation that has this as their first World Cup song!

This time of year reminds me of christmas, a good time of year but the songs that are released are just cringe worthy!
If the players hear the england songs they must think im not sure getting to the world cup is worth it when you hear the likes of neil morrisy releasing shite songs for the world cup.

I've never watched it myself but I know about the annoying thing because a few weeks back it was coming "new" to UK Gold and on every advert break I had to hear "Oh what's occuring" and it does get on your mammaries.

My GF watches it. As I got her into Family Guy, she suggested I watch Gavin & Stacey. I gave it a go and watched the first series. I assume I just don't 'get' it as the supposed funny moments are really iritating, especially the 'what's occuring' 'no word of a lie' bint. Considering she wrote it, you'd think they'd give themselves the best parts. James Corden is a cock too. In fact, everyone on the show gets on my tits, except maybe Gavin's Dad who was in Eastenders too apparently!
Awful show.

The only person I know who is in it who does make me laugh is Rob Brydon. I think he's in it anyway. But he is funny as a stand-up or on shows like QI, Have I Got News For You etc; - I've no idea what he's like in a sitcom.
