Only cost us a few quid, hardly on the biggest wage and does chip in with some important goals but will Coyle have plans for Tamir other than for him to sit on the bench.

Stay or go?

Go - he is probably the most pointless midfielder in the premier league, he does fcúk all and how he ever impressed when the scouts were watching him is beyond me.

We can probably get 1M for him.

6 competant central midfielders is more than enough. We can lose Cohen, McCann and JOB.

We have:

Muamba-Holden
S.Davis-M.Davies
Basham-Mooy (both decent youth we should be looking at bringing through over next couple of years)

When Cohen plays well, Bolton play well.

It shows how often he's played well.

Yeh he's not the best, but he'd be decent back up, we'd be looking to get rid of 4-5 players before him.

No need to move him on! He's not exactly breaking the bank....

I agree with Jimbo (particularly as it relates to Basham and Mooy) but there are a few who I'd rather see leave first. Keep him, for now.

Go. He had a good start to the season, but for the rest he has been shíte. As this is his third season at the club, its a go from me.

To my knowledge, he's out of contract this summer. Unless he's signed a new one that I've completely missed any reports about.

I voted he can go but I suppose he is the sort of player who would be good as back up. But I don't want to see him in the starting 11 when the new season comes around, he doesn't do enough. I think he has potential to improve a lot though but whether he will realise that potential I am not so sure.

I thought McCann was the only player we had who was going out of contract.

Go for me. If we're looking to improve, it should be players like him out the door and our current first teamers as back up.

I thought McCann was the only player we had who was going out of contract.

Coyle has said he only has one player out of contract, but maybe he means players he deems first team. McCann did play in Coyle's first two games so maybe he considers him good enough to hang around.

According to my list, these lot are out of contract:
Gavin McCann
Ricardo Vaz Te
Tamir Cohen
Stuart Holden
Zoltan Harsanyi

I think it's a given that Vaz Te and Harsanyi will be off, probably McCann too and maybe Cohen. Holden will be sticking around for another year when he signs the contract.

Has Coyle actually come out and confirmed that? I knew we want him to stay but I've seen nothing which says he's actually signed.
