We'll all chip in for the bic, you'll be a natural at the rest.

Seriously though, how much do ST revenues account for over all? 3-4million? In footballing terms at a club like ours it'd be almost in their interest to practically give them away.

Bums on seats are far more effective at generating the occaisional extra point (thus generating further league revenues/player interest) than spendning stupid amounts on liabilities like Elmander.

You would probably end up with wankers tipping up who dont even support Bolton just to watch free football, its bad enough with the Juveniles being dirt cheap which means that glory hunting little fanny teenagers tip up banging on about Torres and Gerrard all game.

If that little wanker starts talking about Liverpool again tommorow im going to follow him hope and rape him , his family and every pet in his house.

Good to hear, it's looking like the choice between scummy scroats or no-one at all until the results come on the pitch so I'd rather the ground look fuller even if I am surrounded by jibbering morons.

If we gave away free tickets for the game tommorow the club could actually benefit from this, for example;

Yes they may not be ''die hard'' bolton fans but just because they havent bought a ticket its more than likely bwfc will make money on other things like drinks from the kiosk and the club shop especially if they are kids with their parents then no doubt the kids will want something from the shop and most probably a programme.

Dont get me wrong we won't make millions but it makes the stadium look more full and maybe a little more atmosphere which is something which has been seriously lacking for a couple of years.

As Diana says, that is the problem. If you keep offering feebies or discounts during the season you pee off the s/t holders who paid the full whack. Not the £49 kids who look bored throughout and spend more time running up and down the stairs. I suspect there'll be a few of those who say " I dont want another ticket, Dad "

So they've frozen the prices. Big fcuking deal. If they'd increased prices after the season we've just had they'd have had about 3000 on for the first home game next season.

They should have reduced prices by a huge percentage to bring the fans back. Eventually the hardcore will die out and we'll be left with Big Sharps and Chris Amos mud fighting on the grass near the club shop.

The thing Im hoping for more than anything next season is far fewer predictable results. Our record the past two or three seasons home and away against the better sides is pathetic and we scape survival with wins against teams around or below us. Wigan might finish below us but they have at least given their fans some memorable victories to talk about.

How exciting it used to be when the likes of Arsenal or Liverpool came to the Reebok. It's wins against those sort of teams that will get the fans and SKY tv turning up again at the Reebok.

Sounds a bit gay for my liking, can it not be a UFC style cage.

They wouldn't even dare increase the prices while attendances are as low as they have been for the last 2 or 3 years.

Next year will probably see a price freeze too because we're not going to get 25,000+ on a regular basis.

£369, not too bad. Anyone any idea if they'll be doing the pay in instalments plan? I'm definitely on a season ticket next year.

Not had a proper read through that page but they usually let you pay in installments but charge quite a high rate of interest.

I know it's a lot to shell out in one go but paying all at once works out better. Then with the money you saved on not paying interest, you can have a pint before every match!

I totally agree - I have paid for 2 tickets for Sunday's game and if they then decide to give away the tickets I would demand a refund!!!!

I don't think that international bankers who can afford to shell out 240 Euros for another flight because the one they are booked on has been delayed a couple of hours should be worrying about poor Bolton folk being given tickets.

With a bit of luck justice will prevail and his flight home will crash.

That has come from my holiday money (i.e. 8% of my annual wage which is then taxed 50%, which every working citizen, and doesn't matter about nationality, of holland gets) - as rest of the money is tied up for Australia 2012 and for going to a wedding in Kaapstaad in Zuid Afrika later this year, as well as continually doing my apartment up!

If it does then I know the authorities will look straight at you for that comment - did you fix the plane so it would crash killing INNOCENT people?  (you are a complete imbicile a lot of the time Mr Sharples).

Plus I don't think Jitka would like it, either! :'(

Me too.

Love how my mate who now lives in Plymouth has to shell out £80 per year to watch League 1 football, at the same age as me!
