I'm almost ready to let people post their blogs to the site, but first I need to know who is interested so things can be set up.

Off the top of my head, Natasha and Jimbo were both interested. If you still are, or indeed anybody else, put your name down and I'll PM you with the details on how to post when everything is ready.

Well seeing that we are a BWFC forum, we would expect to see some occasional reference to Bolton Wanderers of course!

I think it's a good time to start as well at the end of the season, lots to talk about. What's the plan, to have 'guest' blogs or someone with their own regular?

I can see people being interested but then go weeks without posting one so the more the merrier.

For those who are interested, I'll set you up with your own boards where you can post your blogs and once they are approved, I'll move them over to the blog page.

One big must about this is you need to be able to speak English. So for those text typers out there, you're out!

What would a young woman like you know about being a trannie though?

Nothing. But seeing as everyone accuses me of being a man in a dress I feel there's some comedy value to blogging as a trannie.

I'd probably not mind doing a blog but I'd not want to commit to prattling on about nothing just for the sake of fulfilling a predetermined number of blogs.  I'd only want to blog when I have something interesting/creative to say.  Cheesy

I'm in for this aswell, I've always got some useless stuff to say or flashback to mention so it would make the forum a bit more interesting over the summer months. Might counteract the seemingly-inevitable Whittam-Amos daily debates about her genitalia quite nicely actually.

The majority of volunteers wouldnt make interesting reading although a weekly blog by Natasha is a must and will no doubt lead to a monthly newsletter being published.

Howfen White, jimbo_bwfc, Natasha Whittam, Didledee, 267, chris_rabz and bigsamsarmyusa have all been added as "Bloggers". That's more than enough for now because I might chip in every now and then too.

If any of those I have mentioned have changed their mind, let me know.

If it helps people on what to write, we could have a couple of people posting about the activity at the club, Natasha could write Natasha-style blogs and others could be given a theme to work with.

As an example, Howfen has started "The Spy". He could turn that into a blog that I can integrate into the website.

Home matches will be easier to do this, but if somebody is going to an away match, they can write a personalised report under the title "From My Seat" or something along those lines.

Unless he volunteers, Sluffy used to, and still does occasionally, write "Where are they now?" threads. That's another idea. If he doesn't want to do this, maybe somebody else does?

There are three ideas just off the top of my head. If anyone has any more or any of the people down to write blogs fancy taking me up on one of these ideas, post in here or send me a PM.

I like that idea of a Spy blog.

I quite often look at other club's forum's when there's something kicking off at their club.

EDIT: No, I'm not fecking volunteering

I'm happy to carry on the 'spy' blog, I'll have another go for the Birmingham match and try and make it a bit more detailed.

One of my 'themed' blogs would probably be flashbacks. I often enjoy finding out what happened 'on this day' in whatever year and reading about games from bygone eras - particularly the mid 90s. I'd volunteer for the away games but often if it's been a poor trip (as so many have been) the last thing I want to do is recall it all again but I've got all summer so I'll have a think about it.
