I think it might be the time to release him and concentrate our efforts on Tope Obadeyi and Danny Ward.

Danny Ward scored again.

I was walking between the tiers, as I had been quite often to get different views and pictures. I was downstairs for their goal, then watched the chavs try and give it all they've got at the segregation, went back upstairs and by the time I got there it was 1-1. To be fair the state I was in even if my eyes saw it my mind wouldn't have remembered it.

I dont know how you can class them as Chavs, I dont recall seeing the type of M0ngs you get in ESL on the square of guimaraes.

Well like I said I was a mess by that point so I might have been wrong but it looked like the type you see away at Wigan where they'll give it all the verbal and then when it actually comes to anything real they go silent and move away, but I've got videos of around that time and going off my "singing" I was in no state to judge anyone really.

Go.

No point in keeping him, always injured and doesn't deliver on the pitch.

He's talented but not up to PL standard.

Go - Since he was injured for so long I once thought he had actually died....

Agreed. He won't get in the team this season, but another season at Swindon will do him good.

IMO he needs to score about 20-odd goals for him to be considered here. Look at Simon Cox, he smashed about 30-odd in last season for Swindon, moved to West Brom and I've hardly heard anything of him.

Simon Cox has scored 9 goals in 43 app's for WBA, so as you say 30+ goals in L1, now 9 goals in the Fizzy-Pop league, looks like a big step up, It's likely that he will go on loan to Swindon, if they get promoted, if not a few Championship clubs are interested. So we can see what he's like in a league above!

You do know he's been playing on the left wing?
What sort of winger in any league gets 20-odd goals per season?

I sincerely apologise, I haven't been following his progress. With him being a striker, I assumed he would be playing there for them.

No need to apologise, easy mistake to make.
And he hasn't because their current strike-force has a combined tally of 47 goals for the season.
However their fans have compared him to Milner who once had a spell there which can only be good Cheesy

Nice to see Vaz Te signed off in style.

"Wanderers’ best chance of the night fell to Ricardo Vaz Te with eight minutes left. A terrible blunder from keeper Loris Karius left him with an open goal but the Portugal forward, out of contract at the end of the season and unlikely to be offered a new deal, could only send his shot into the side-netting in a miserable ending to his Whites career"

Why change the habits of a lifetime!!

A few minutes before that incident Bolton hit the bar and the ball rebounded to Vaz Te.
Instead of controlling the ball and having a shot at goal he fell over...

When he was fit he never seemed able to run in the opponents 18 yard box without falling over unchallenged. I remember him using his pace to evade defenders, getting a good look at goal then slipping and falling to the ground without making contact with the ball. No point in keeping him, I say...

From the Reserves final, comes this quote:
Quote
Wanderers began to offer more after the early setback as Ricardo Vaz Te managed to create an opening before unfortunately losing his footing...

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

He wants the chance to prove himself here apparently. Good for him to have such confidence and ambition but I agree that another loan spell would be the best option for his long term development. If it was in the Championship, it would be even better.

The fact that it would prevent Leeds going up autmatically would be the icing on the cake!

Give him till August 31st. See if he is around the bench and can come on and do anything we'll hang on to him. If he hasn't made much impact, get him a deadline day loan move to a Championship club.
