I did a few times. Made me shíte scared of them. I think GBHing a pupil is a tad over the top, but if you deal with a classroom full of gobby little shits day in day out and can't lay a finger on them, then it will have it's consequences. Should a teacher be allowed to give a child a clip?  I think so. st olcans high school, closest we got to anything decent to look at was mr hastings and mr mckendry, nasty nasty men!! its a wonder i havnt been scared for life!!
i remember getting a slap across the hands in primary1 by mrs corr cos i went into the bigger kids playground, i did however manage to convince her my cousin had been with me, so she got a slap too, never done us a bit of harm but i never did venture into the bigger playground after that

I was sent to the headtechaers office once at primary school, then had the ruler across the nuckles of a couple of times at a primary school in halliwell (shepherd cross street - but not naming the school)
then at secondary sent to head teachers office in first winter there, had lines a few times. Had a chalk-duster, chair and almost a table thrown at me - by the same teacher)
also had lucnhtime detention because I refused to answer questions in a class RE test!

They didn't have mucky mags for girls back then & let's be honest, I have never really got much out of looking at womens private bits. The most excitment I got was a double page spread of Nick Heywood in an arran jumper with his sleeves rolled up! |
