Dave Whealen is the biggest prick to ever own a football club, whenever another football team is in the media for bad or good reasons he sticks his fuking hooter in when in all honesty no one gives a shite about what he thinks....stick to running a football club with no fans!

He is passionate you can't take that away from him as for having no fans we dont do much better, We are a club with a great history and yet are poorly supported, Wigan is a rugby town and to have a young club in the Premiership is no mean feat!!

A very astute business man who owns a club with few fans but by a string of clever purchases manages to keep them in the top league and still show a profit. He's entitled to have his say.

Dave Whelan is a 5* arsehole, but a very very clever one!

Anyway, we should always be aiming to finish above our local rivals. We're not going to win the league anytime soon, so like it or not, we have to be content with the little victories! The extra money the higher league position generates and the pride of finishing above Wigan & Wolves (our biggest non-local rival?) would be such a victory.

Totally agree with that.  I've going to be really pissed off if we end up lower than 14th.  We already dropped 2 points vs. Portsmouth, causing us to now not be able to move higher that 14th place.

Even if we had beat Portsmouth, we still wouldn't finish any higher.

Not a bad performance really taking everything into account. Spurs are a side with far more quality and I think they actually deserve 4th more than Citeh simply because they've been fighting for it for years and apart from the odd season have always been in our around the top 6, whereas we all know Citeh are only there because they have managed to find that cheat that gives you unlimited money, the kind of thing you'd be able to do on Premier Manager back in the day!

But we did put up a good fight. Alright it could have been more than the 1-0 it was but they didn't put it to bed and very very nearly paid for it. In stoppage time they were all over the place defending-wise and their fans were whistling, hands on head some of them, praying to hold on to the 1-0 home win over Bolton.

That completes the 100% away record for me, all remains now to get the full house next Sunday against Brum and hopefully we'll end it with a win that will secure a quite tidy 14th considering where we were going into the New Year. WHITE ARMY!
