If it hadn't been for his blood clot, I think he'd be in the squad. Since he's come back he hasn't really been in good form and I think he'll miss out.

Dawson is a good defender but I don't remember him playing for England before, just like Cahill.

IMO, both are better than Upson and Capello should take both ahead of him.

Dawson is much better than Cahill(certainly on current form) and if it's a straight pick between the two it has to be Dawson.

However it's ridiculous that these two players are fighting it out for 4th spot when both are alot better than Upson could ever hope to be.

Shame King isn't fit enough for tournement football. He is better than Upson, Dawson and Cahill put together.

He is alot better than JT and Rio too.

Cahill has been a donkey all season, the only half-decent spell our defence had was when he was injured.

He was bullied for 90 minutes on Saturday. I'll drive him to any club who wants to buy him.

I was listening to 606 Saturday morning and they were discussing the United v Spurs game and Ledley King. They said that had Ferdinand and Terry had good seasons then they could take a risk with King and assumed that King would be going any other year but, with Ferdinand injured and Terry suspect, they need players who can guarantee you games and King cannot do that anymore due to his knees.

Shame really as he is a great player. I'd say that out of Cahill and Dawson, then Dawson should go as he has been excellent this year. However, I think Cahill should get the nod over Upson but we all know that there is an unwritten rule which states that each England squad must have at least three WHU players regardless of how shíte they are; hense Green, Upson and Cole will be on the plane.

The only west ham player id even consdier taking this year is scott parker, the west ham fans have even admitted he has pretty much kept them up by himself.

Upson is absolute garbage, Cole is the most over rated striker to put on an england shirt and as for Rob Green, when he was at Norwich i thought he would be a excellent keeper but whether its playing  behind a shite defence at west ham or its just he is not good enough the guys been terrible this season.
