Darn it! I go out, get drunk and miss the deadline for the Prediction League! Angry

It would have been 4-1 to the SUPERWHITES! I'm going to this game, so we better bloody win anyway! COYWM

I'm going for a conservative 0-1 to us.

Stoke haven't lost to us in 9 games, apparently, so there's a challenge to our boys tomorrow.

That'll be 2-1 to Stoke then.

Could really see it going all three ways. win/loss/draw. Ill stay sat on the fence and go draw.

Same team as played Chelsea. Intresting.

Could be a good away system with the players we have.

Call it defensive but it's getting the best of our best player Wilshere by giving him free reign.

Gives Lee more freedom not to have to track back as much

Davies always plays better as a lone striker.

I quite like the system away from home.

My worry about this starting 11 is where are the goals going to come from?
From the 10 outfield players I will rule out Robinson, Knight, Steinsson, Ricketts, Muamba, Wilshere, Kevin Davies and Lee from scoring.
I think the only 2 players who may score today are Cahill or Taylor and they are hardly prolific.
Expect another game with no goals.

Well, that's our game done and dusted. Now to spend the rest of Soccer Saturday hoping Sunderland and Birmingham can do us a favour.

Sound familiar?

That is game over for me. We won't score so we've lost. Fingers crossed for Burnley and Hull to lose.

We are playing abysmal, get Klasnic or Elmander on!

Remember the good old days when Taylors' freekicks used to clear the wall?

Burnley losing, that helps, come on Birmingham.

We really are rubbish, we don't deserve to stay up. The first half of the season we couldn't keep a clean sheet. The 2nd half of the season we cannot score. Weird considering Megson was so negative and Owen Coyle is supposed to be so positive.

This is absolutely diabolical football, everyone messing up, everything hit and hope, Taylor's rather slipping or messing up, Wilshire trying to do to much, cant deal with the long throws and Steinsson can't pass a simple 5 yard ball.

Davies not even in the game.

Depressing stuff. I do not see the point of Kevin Davies starting in a game like this. Faye and Huth will have no trouble against a slow physical player who cannot shoot for toffee.
Owen Coyle is disappointing me a lot to be honest. There are no goals in this team but he sticks with the same players game in game out.

Davies not even in the game.

Coyle show just how naive he is thinking Davies can have any sort of effect up front on his own against Faye and Huth. It'll be like when we played Villa but we'll look even less likely to score.

Paul Robinson follows up by being a hero and making a fantastic tackle that no-one else on our team would have made.

Awful half. Have to say team selection hasn't paid off at all.

Taylor, Davies and Ricketts/Steinsson OFF
Klasnic, Elmander and Mavies ON

ASAP

Worst half of football I've watched under Coyle. Disjointed can't find our own man. Knight and Muamba playing like they did at the beginning of their Bolton careers.

Totally agree. This is the thing that really winds me up, we have players like Klasnic or Riga who would give Stoke's defence problems but instead Kevin Davies starts.

I can honestly say this is the worst half I think I can ever imagine, it's worse than anything seen under Megson, no one can pass a ball, everything going out of touch when we try and pass, every player is hesitant, everything is awful

No passion, no desire to win, awful negative tactics, awful formation[Stoke are not Chelsea!] just giving Stoke the edge already before kick off.

How depressing! 5 straight defeats, no goals! what a pathetic team.
