Well you did say don't post on the other topic Wink

It's fake but the audience acts like it's real
It's so 'over-the-top' American
It's gay, very gay, as gay as Elton John and Graham Norton shopping for flowers
The wrestlers are gay
Some still adults like it
Those interviews before the fight (do they still do those?!)
All the wrestlers I liked as a kid are about 60 now and still wrestling
The Bushwackers have retired
They banned us from having wrestling matches in primary school due to people getting injured

Anyone else?

No offence to people who watch this as i used to when i was about 13 but now i cringe at the thought that i used to watch it, its so fake and seriously over the top.

The only decent thing that comes out of it are the women in it or as they call them ''divas''   Grin

It's labelled as 'entertainment' and it's nowhere near as entertaining as it was 10 years ago.

TNA is better than WWE in my opinion. Reminds me of the 'attitude era' which I think was what Manny was referring to when he said '10 years ago'

They have no competition since WCW was bought by Vince which is why with nobody else to compete with it means they dont have to get the wrestlers to near kill themselves every month and means they can do stupid disqualifications at pay per views because they know wrestling fans cant find a better alternative.

I heard TNA are not even making money which makes them miles behind WWE but I would be happy for them to compete with them as it would give everybody something to look forward to again but TNA's main problem is that they have an obesession with hiring over the hill ex WWE employees like Mick Foley and Tazz.

Fair point Sharps, they do, but they do have some good young guys like AJ Styles, Mr Kennedy, Jeff Hardy etc.

Not quite all of them, but they're still good to look at.  Tongue

I did mean the attitute era, or the back end of it. 2000-2001 was brilliant with the whole Austin hit and run storyline and then WCW and ECW invasion. Don't like TNA though. Their high flyers are better but most of their top guys are WWE and WCW rejects from anytime over the last 15 years. Kevin Nash, Sting and Kurt Angle are all well past their best.

I see they've started airling a live show to compete with Raw on a Monday night. Even though I don't like them, I hope they make a success of it because the whole industry needs the competition element again like Sharps said.

He's just a timebomb waiting to explode though. He was on 2 strikes with WWE because of drugs and 48 hours after his contract expired he was arrested again on another drugs charge. He was good for the WWE but it's only a matter of time before he gets himself into serious trouble.

Maria and Maryse are the exceptions, TNA are funded by Dixie Carter who I believe is the owner of UFC aswell. I may start watching it again to see if it picks up, the only reason I stopped watching was because I was sick of waiting for years for the good old days to return and they just never seemed like they were coming.

Christian is a very underrated wrestler who needs to be in the main event picture.

Really, I would never have guessed. She doesnt look like the type, i was expecting the owner of UFC to look more like Miss Trunchbull.

Yup would be right sir and ignored what I said about Dixie Carter owning UFC that was complete nonsense , I know there is some link between the 2 but that isnt it.  I think the only link is that they are on the same US television network

Anyone watch the Louis Theroux docu with the wrestlers? I wouldn't fancy getting on the wrong side of some pumped-up sted-head, personally!

That bloke wanted to kill him for asking about 'the storyline'!

I watch it but I don't like how some of them are pushed as role models for kids, especially the ones who have been in trouble with drugs.

Jeff Hardy, Rey Mysterio, HBK have all been in trouble before but are always the ones aimed towards getting kids to watch. Too many have died from drugs use over the last couple of years, with Test and Umaga the latest ones I believe.
