Rooney could be rested as he has a knee problem according to the Daily Mail. I would much rather face that Lazy Frog Berbatov than Rooney  Cool

Thought he was Bulgarian Grin

Good news though. All's we need now is a trigger happy sniper near their training ground and job done!

They're not unbeatable, all the of the top four are pretty poor this year.

We're good enough to beat them, no doubt about it.

If Blackburn can get a draw against Chelsea, we can do similar against United!

Don't forget that we have only conceeded one goal at home in two months of football. The Reebok is a Fortress! We have nothing to fear from United!

Very true.

Looking at the league we could pretty much stay up without kicking a ball.

Fúck it lets do some showboating. I may even have a cheeky tenner on it at 7-1.

After deliberation I am going 2-0.

I'm hoping he doesn't do a Megson and come out defensively. I'd like to think an experienced fresh pair of defensive legs in the second half (assuming we aren't already being spanked by that stage - in which case it won't be worth risking him).

He might be onto a loser whatever he does here, Coyle. If he doesn't play Cahill and we are losing by half-time some will criticise him for not starting arguably his best player. If he does play him and we are losing, some will say he brought him back too soon, but in either case there'll be a lot that ignore the fact we could well be losing no matter whether he plays Cahill or not.

I personally would leave him out for it. We have looked okay defensively without him and I'd like his return to be in a much more winnable fixture if possible, i.e. Villa at home next week.

Why I hate Man Utd

There's been a lot of people in the past week or so, both on and away from BA, that have questioned my reasons for hating Manchester United so much so I have decided to show just some of the reasons why. And no, the stone-throwing kids of 1958 are not a part of it since I wouldn't be born for another 28 years.

2009

Bolton 0-1 Man Utd
Reigning champions United produced another late show as Dimitar Berbatov's last-minute header secured a 1-0 win at Bolton Wanderers."

2006

Bolton 0-4 Man Utd
"A Wayne Rooney treble kept Manchester United top of the table as Bolton lost at home for the first time this season."

2004
>>>
Bolton 2-2 Man Utd
"A dramatic injury-time goal by David Bellion, with the ball appearing to come off his arm, salvaged a draw for Manchester United at Bolton."

2003

Bolton 1-1 Man Utd
"Ole Gunnar Solskjaer struck late on to salvage a less than deserved draw for Manchester United at Bolton."

There's also an honourable mention for Andy Cole stealing a point at Old Trafford in 1998, but the main reason is quite simple for me.

25th February 1996: Bolton Wanderers 0-6 Manchester United

That was their last ever visit to Burnden and even though I was only 9 I remember the feeling as though it was last weekend. Is that enough reasons to hate those dirty Red BASTARDS? Let's fecking have em this time. COYWM!

In the one where solksjaer equalised late on they was offside twice in the move yet as usual the linesman didnt see it.  I was only 10 I think when we played them in 1996 but the main thing I remember about that game was them munich (unts getting kicked up and down manchester road.

They only have the bottom tier because they all stand up for the whole game. Think it was the same last season?

We should encourage them to stand in the hope it causes an accident which kills them all.

I severely doubt it'd be a sell out this early in Coyle's reign, unless a truckload of reds decide to infiltrate the Bolton sections which is a possibility. The attendance problem for us is one that is solved gradually, the fans that need convincing won't have been convinced by wins over Wolves, West Ham and Wigan. Only if/when we start to give bigger sides a game will they start to sit up and take notice, get to the ground, and then pretend they were there all along.

I'd rather it be full and bouncing of course but at least we know if it isn't packed to the rafters the ones that are there are the ones that have been there all season.

It would be foolish to bring Cahill back. The one good thing Coyle has done is get a few clean sheets at home...all done without Cahill fcuking things up. If we bring Cahill back we'll return to the comedy defending days.
