Look at the comments on Sky Sports, not one supporter is happy! It's as bad as when we got Megson!

He's managed a fair few failing clubs; and, his points tally is worse than Brown's...and both managers' stats are worse than Megson's (barely).

I am so relieved we got Owen Coyle. What an appointment that is going to look in months to come now compared to the also-rans of Megson, Dowie, Curbishley ... urm, Irvine.

Bit harsh to include Curbishley in that list. He has had a good managerial career with both Charlton and West Ham. Certainly not a failure like Megson or Dowie.

I actually wanted Curbishley to replace Megson when he got the boot, prior to Coyle being linked. Good manager.
