When at University I had a part time job at Kendals in Manchester - many of the cast from Corrie used to go in there.  Even seen, and help serve Lucy Meacock.....

Yesterday at the bar I saw Chris Bisson (who??? - Vikram from Corrie, then the gayshopkeeper in Shameless and currently playing the owner of the sweet factory in Emmerdale).

In th epast, at an irish bar here in Amsterdam, I have seen Ainsley Harriot a few times!

Met quite a few tbh. Sven Goran Eriksson on a plane back from Naples. Served Vernon Kay in the pub once or twice too, haha.

But the finest one by far has to be having a picture taken in one of Bolton's top nightclubs (ha) with Michael Johansson, Henrik Pedersen and Per Frandsen.

I admit I'm using the term 'celebrity' quite loosely with these examples...

I've seen a few Z list Corrie actors;

Fiz twice - once at an Oasis gig and once at a PIzza Hut on Oxford Road
Toyah Battersby twice - in a Manchester club
Ken Barlow - Trafford Centre
Pat Sharp of Fun House fame, sadly without the twins

That's about it. I doubt I could have come up with a worse selction of piss poor celebs but there you go.

My girlfriend's parents have met a few famous people. Her mum worked on reception at a small hotel in Canada for a few months. After being told they were expecting a 'special guest, in walked Tom Jones. She said that she saw him in concert a few months previously but she missed all but the first song as her friend fainted. He said that was a shame and then, to make it up to her, he sang her favourite song to her before going to his room. Top Man!

Plus they met Elvis Costello on a ferry. The same ferry I had just left! Bastard.

Speaking of soap z-listers me and mi mam bumped into the fit one off Emmerdale(don't watch it so don't know what shes called, shes on page three in the news of the world today) at the petrol station in Horwich parkway.

Taking a level further down from z-lister, I remember meeting Ian McCulloch the Wiganer who used to be in the top 16 at snooker. I thought he was a fanny personally. I asked him how many 147's he'd made in big tournements after hearing something on the telly about a week earlier about Stephen Hendry breaking the record.

He looked at me like I was stupid then cockily made some stupid answer up which was about 100 more than the record Stephen Hendry had just broken.

I think I said I wouldn't have thought you'd have even played half that many games in big tournements. He didn't like me saying that.  Grin

I've met many B & C List "stars" but the biggest A-Lister is Eminem.

I once had a coffee with him in London.

Go on, I'll bite. How did it come about that you got to meet a world famous rapper for coffee? At least Sharps keeps his stories plausible. Eminem is never out of Farmfoods.

I have also met and chatted with Jude Law, when he was doing the remake of Alfie (the New York street scenes were actually filmed in High Street, Manchester - Northern Quarter)

Also seen most of the crew of Cutting It - as quite a lot of their scenes were filmed in Tib (street or lane - cannot remember which one!!!!) in Manchester - opposite Town Hall Tavern,

But Eminem , what can I say - such a cool guy and has told me a lot of stories about his personal stalker - yep, someone keeps following him around farmfoods and he finds this very creepy!

Personally, I think Eminem has gone downhill recently.
I don't really follow his career, but he's been living in our shed for the last 18 months.

I worked at Heathrow for over 6 years so we used to spot someone on almost a weekly basis.

Most notable one for me would be  Princess Di. I also got to speak one on one with US President Ford, Patrick Swayze, Jamie Lee Curtis (bitch), George Graham, Steve Ovette, Graham Taylor, Buzz Aldren (2nd man on the moon - lovely old fella), Casey Kasem (the younger ones won't recognise that name - but got a mentions as his daughter was lovely!), Kate Moss, Helena Bonham Carter, Patsy Kensit, Paul Mckenna and others that  can't think of right now.

What was the name of that brutally ugly black actress/model who played a cameo role in Mad Max? It's doing my head in. Met her she was drugged up to the eyeballs and mad as a bag of wasps.

Casey Kasem - the original voice of Shaggy from Scooby doo and also the presenter of America's Top Ten (now that was a decent night time show!!!)

Cool, well envious of you for that!

He's Lebanese. His daughter was an exceptional Lebanese beauty.

I had to escort them to the gate for something and one of my housemates embarrassed the living shite out of me shouting across the terminal "Lee, was it milk you wanted picking up from Tesco's, or was it bread?" You had to be there, but I nearly died out of embarrassment.

Thanks for putting me out of my misery!

A serious walking case of mental health issues there.

Just looked on Wiki and she's 61! Suprised she's still alive.
