Got the impression you were happy there Howfen, so am surprised you quit.

Please for you that you got another job so quickly - hope it turns out well.

(Will you be using your new employers logo as your new avatar!)

I enjoyed the job, and I miss working there and all the members of staff, but I don't regret my choice. I was just bored out of my tree over there, I had gone over there straight from uni, not knowing anyone, didn't really do much during the week and used to come back to Westhoughton at weekends, but petrol costs were crippling me plus it was a ballache travelling as well. I'm in another position where I'm happy enough, in offices where I used to work right near the Reebok on better money so I can't complain, and my attendance at matches will shoot back up again! I certainly will not be using it as my avatar, haha!

I take back the sarcasm about the free flags as they seem to add to the atmosphere today!  Grin

Yeah they helped cover up some empty seats.

Also, an attendance of just over 20,000? Bollocks. IMO it looked way less... they sure they didn't count the flags as people as well?

Wigan's support was piss poor today, considering it was a Saturday afternoon and not on TV. Wigan Warriors took more to Bradford on a Friday night when it was on TV than they did today!

A bit rich of us to slag off away support.....I counted 157 of us at Sunderland.

You went to the effort of counting?

You can understand poor support on a Tuesday night hours away from home, but not 10 minutes down the road on a Saturday afternoon, there's no excuse for that.

She didn't go to the effort of going, so counting would be a bit of a tall order.

I didn't count exactly as at 3-0 people started to leave....but there were around 160 I'd say.

Pitiful considering we are a Premiership side.

It's always been the case with Bolton fans though....talk a good game on forums but when it comes to the crunch they can't be bothered.

We took 10 coaches to Sunderland so there's probably around 500 on those plus whoever made their own way up.

Not seen any figures, but looked like a decent turnout for me. Particularly for a Tuesday night in the north east.

Cut some slack Manny; maybe maths isn't Natasha's strong point.

If i remember rightly before this game was called off originally we were close to selling out (apprantly) as it would have been OC's first game in charge but for a tuesday night the club cant expect fans to just drop work on the count of a football match.

It aint a case of cant be botherd love, we were at west ham the saturday before this game which was about £30+ not including travel so dont get on your high horse preaching to the people who didnt go.

It felt like there was a bit more than 200 went to Sunderland. Obviously a direct result of the free travel but when we were chasing the equalizer in the second half it felt like there was at least 700-800, could have been a thousand. But you are right we have no right to slag anyone's away support off, ours is up there with the worst in the country considering we are a Premier League club and have been since 2001.
