Ive seen the 2 yellows a few times now and still am none the wiser to why cohen got 1 yellow nevermind 2, maybe for them both it could have been a booking but to send him off for those 2 challenges is beyond me.

Unless i was looking at it with a biased view being a bolton fan but it astounds me how he got sent off.

2nd was a definite yellow. First to me looked like a dive by Behrami(who also dived for Robinsons yellow) and even if he did catch him he pulled out of the challange.

Valerie Behrami and his blonde highlights, clearly a mans man.

Similar view to Jimbo for me. Can't really complain with his 2nd yellow but the first was harsh. He knew he wasn't going to win the ball so pulled out of the tackle, just about caught the player and went in the book for it.

Some don't rate Cohen but in my eyes we're another central midfielder down now.

How did Robinson get a yellow card, wasn't even a freekick!

He deserved it IMO, he was always looking like he was going to get sent off. The amount of clumsy fouls he gives away in dangerous positions is so frustrating and puts us under loads of unnecessary pressure.

Another positive from the game along with the three points yesterday in that we might actually play someone that contributes something to the team in his place! My ideal would to put Lee in the centre and Weiss out right but I think Riccy Gardner will get his place against Sunderland.

I think the first was for persistent fouling, so as an individual challenge it didn't look like a yellow card, but because of the build up of fouls he deserved it. The second, on the other hand, was a definite booking so I don't really think the referee had much of a choice.

You make me laugh. You make Megson look like a tactical genius.

Lee is doing a good job out wide but we don't have any attacking centre midfielders. Lee isn't the fastest and I think his skill and nippy feet can really be a catalyst in attack... he can link up the midfield to the attack ON THE DECK which is what we don't have at the moment.

Anyway Natasha, I'm quite disappointed with that post, I expect more from you on this forum. It's usually the non-regulars that leave the forum after having a comment made against them that tend to laugh at other posts without actually contributing anything to the forum and adding their own views on the situation. So what I'm trying to get at is, who would you put in there instead of Cohen?

I know you're probably not that bothered, you'd probably just want a traffic cone there instead seeing as your preferred method of football is hoofball to Kevin Davies, no need for a midfield with that.

Cohen deserved his Red.

The 1st yellow was deserved before the booking he had made 2 or 3 challenges that were questionable. 2nd yellow was a cert.

Cohen's problem is that he always looks half a yard off the pace when closing down. I just don't think he's good enough; a poor man's Kevin Nolan and that's saying summat.

Spot on !
Though I thought Cohen was lucky to reach half-time without a yellow; even in Sky's 50 minute version, he seemed to commit 4-5 fouls in the first 45 minutes. Poor.

Don't agree with playing Lee in the middle one bit, he would have a similar effect there to Luca Modric for Spurs, would spend most of the time on his arse. I would go for

Wilshere Taylor Muamba Lee

Bad as Taylor has been in the last few weeks I think of the current candidates he'd be the best bet. Bibi had a good game against Spurs, but he's a bit error prone for me

Ahh, Cohen.  Brilliant header to set up Wilshere, then moronic sending off.  But if he was a perfect player he wouldn't have cost a sub £100K fee.  Most of the blame has to go to Coyle.  We all know that Cohen is a red card waiting to happen and he should have been pulled earlier.
