To add a bit more to it I've got here Burnley's run-in with predictions, let's see how they compare with ours...

Saturday, 6 March 2010
Barclays Premier League
Arsenal v Burnley, 15:00

Loss, no question.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wednesday, 10 March 2010
Barclays Premier League
Burnley v Stoke, 19:45

Draw. They could well win this but is quite low right now and even their home form has been poor recently with only one win since October. Stoke are a tough side and will get something from the game.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Saturday, 13 March 2010
Barclays Premier League
Burnley v Wolverhampton, 15:00

Win. Massive battle #1, but Wolves are shocking away and can't score. Burnley have to beat someone and they will win this one.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Saturday, 20 March 2010
Barclays Premier League
Wigan v Burnley, 15:00

Draw. A bit like our game at the DW it'll be a bad game between two bad teams, 0-0.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sunday, 28 March 2010
Barclays Premier League
Burnley v Blackburn, 12:00

Loss. Blackburn always seem to win their derbies against us and Burnley and this will be no different.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Saturday, 3 April 2010
Barclays Premier League
Burnley v Man City, 17:30

Loss. This is the kind of fixture that will see what Citeh are made of and they will have to win them to get near 4th, plus Burnley will be on a downer after their derby defeat.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Saturday, 10 April 2010
Barclays Premier League
Hull v Burnley, 15:00

Draw. Burnley's best chance to end the winless streak away from Turf Moor, but they'll ultimately fall short of victory as they fluff another chance to leapfrog a rival.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Saturday, 17 April 2010
Barclays Premier League
Sunderland v Burnley, 15:00

Loss. Sunderland will probably have ended their shite-streak by then and even if not would certainly have to against Burnley at home.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Saturday, 24 April 2010
Barclays Premier League
Burnley v Liverpool, 15:00

Loss. Liverpool always look better at the back end of the season when it's too late to win anything and with Torres back they will steamroller this one.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Saturday, 1 May 2010
Barclays Premier League
Birmingham v Burnley, 15:00

Win. This is when they will be win or bust and with Birmingham winding down for the summer after a nice season they will be letting up enough to get Burnley an away win finally

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sunday, 9 May 2010
Barclays Premier League
Burnley v Tottenham, 15:00

Draw. If they have to I can see them maybe winning this as Spurs always struggle up north, but it's anyone's guess as to what the situation will be by then.

-------------------

So a total of 10 points, giving them 33 overall. I just don't see that being enough!

The secret is to always go for Bolton not scoring. It's ridiculous that you get the same points for predicting no goals as you would a Jussi goal. But there you go, it's helped me no end!

Enjoy it while it lasts because the point scoring will be changing next season. It was a mistake I picked up on after about half a dozen games.

I said at the time I'd run his idea if he paid for the license. He declined.
