SAM Allardyce's 47th birthday presents which he unwrapped on Friday will lie neglected because nothing he was given could match the golden gift delivered by his Bolton side at Old Trafford on Saturday.

Will always remember that day, I was in Glasgow so watched Celtic v Dundee United. Celtic won 5-1 with Alan Thompson the best player on the pitch.

Got in the car afterwards and my phone wouldn't stop ringing but I didn't believe anybody when they said we'd won at United, brilliant. Two good goals aswell. How I wish I was at Old Trafford instead of Celtic Park!

Fingers crossed for a repeat next weekend, although I'd be happy to keep the score down at the moment!
