Well the Quarterback is the key player of any team and the greatest in the game at the moment is either Tom Brady at the New England Patriots or Payton Manning at the Indianapolis Colts.

Thanks , i couldn't name many players tbh, i did used to have Madden on PS3 and watch odd highlights or when I'm flicking through sport channels but i don't really find it interesting, stops a lot and a lot of as breaks.
Best thing about American Sport is probably the stadiums, they are very modern and very deluxe ,like Dallas Cowboys stadium.

Im watching it on the BBC so the adverts arnt doing so well at the moment. If you were a fan of punditry after every play instead of an advert then you'd be in luck.

That'll involve me watching a game I couldn't give a dam about then listening to some fat men continue to talk about the game I couldn't give a dam about. Go Adverts!!!!

Its just what they choose to call their game, no need to get so angry about it...

Despite the obvious lack of interest here - at half time the Colts lead 10-6.
If there are any fans of The Who reading then they're playing live right now.

It was the Saints that didnt convert their 1st and goal and tbh, the defense of both teams were both going to play a massive part in this game so wouldn't be surprised to see a few more not converted. Saints have done well to get back into it though, first quarter they didnt have their passing or running game going and found themselves 10-0 down.

Very bold move by the Saints coach with the onside kick and its paid off. Down to Manning and his offense to show their class for the Colts now. A few more touchdowns left in this game yet i reckon.

And that class is starting to show, Colts regain the lead with a touchdown; 17-13 they lead now. Turning into a really good game this.

First interception of the game and first mistake by Manning coming in the final quarter gifting the Saints a touchdown. Saints now lead 31-17 with 3 minutes left, something special needed from Manning and his offense now, Colts need 2 touchdowns to get back into this.

Proved too much to ask of the Colts and the Saints win their first ever Superbowl 31-17. Fair play to them, New Orleans is definatly a place that deserves some success. Good game that was to watch after a poor start, the second half saw two fantastic offenses really start motoring. Anyway, i can stop boring you all now. Till next year at least

This thread as most do needs my expert opinion.
Martin has every right to get annoyed about the superbowl as american football is indeed aload of stop and start shite which is basically rugby with pads.
There is like a million and one adverts and barely any action.
Theres too many americans on view
The game involves barely any foot on ball contact and in reality who gives a fcúk if the billie ray cyrus bobcats are playing the Homer Simpson Hawks.
Any english person who enjoys watching NFL is a retard and should be with his own kind on the dribbler bus.

Amen to that sister If you want a decent American sport, then Ice Hockey would be my choice. Once saw a game Boston. They just beat lumps out of each other. Also went to a baseball game once. Thank god there was a bar there is all I can say.
