I was fortunate to work for an airline before my current job, so got to spank the arse out of my travel concessions. I love independent travelling. Thought it might be interesting to see what other posters experiences are and where they fancy going.
So, to keep it simple initially
Best Place(s) you've been Worst Place(s) Place(s) You'd like to visit
Me:
Best: Syria, Cuba, Japan and Nepal Worst: Had a few dodgy experiences in Central America, noteably Nicaragua and El Salvador Wishlist: Russia and India
Edit forgot one

Most interesting, tough one...I'm going to say Washington DC purely because I came back with a fiance. Most disappointing in Prague. Dream trip is the Andes.
By the way Squidgy are you Baha'i?

You mentioned somewhere you were a student at BIHE........the same letters are used to represent the Baha'i Institute of Higher Education. Baha'i is a Perian/Iranian monotheistic religion that was started in the mid 19th century.
What did you mean by BIHE?

Azreal's almost correct.
I can't just leave. My job is here, my house is here and my children are here. Oh, and my friends are in California too. I can't just up and leave and I've got too much time vested in the company to up and quit.

Bolton Institute of Higher Education! (now Bolton University) I think I'd of learned more in Iran mind (they didn't have a student union bar there) Having been in the old students union, that didn't pass as a bar. It was a plank of wood with some halfwit stood behind it handing out beer. It was still better than the joke of an SU bar we have now.

Had some great times in that bar. Completely dingy, but in the 'who gives a shite' sense of the word.

On a serious note, I once looked into going to Haiti (I'm not a fan of places over-ridden with tourists). I've got a feeling it'll go the way some of Cuba has when it gets on it's feet though.
