So when are we expecting the upgrade Manny and co? It's just i want to book the day off work that's all  Seriously though, are we gonna see big changes? Will Natasha finally be made a mod? will we see Wakey given the title of BA's kitten fiddler? I think the site looks good as it is, so any improvement will be cool, on the official board we had a star rating[1-5] which didn't really work that well because people would give each other 1 star's all the time, even mine which were of superb class. |

Nothing major is actually changing. Most of the forum code has been chopped and changed over the last 2 years, as has the code I've done for the rest of the site and it's a bit of a mess so I'm starting from scratch and getting rid of some parts of the site that aren't needed.
The current site is made up almost entirely of images and the server is struggling with the number of pageloads you buggers put it through. So hopefully when it's all done it'll be quicker for you lot and easier for me to make any changes.
And no, I won't be introducing a star system.

I don't mind, i didn't actually ask for it lol.
If i had a site of my own, i would give out trophies , that went to the poster of the week/post of the week/funny post etc, this little trophy would be underneath your username.
This IMO = win!

Manny, do you have any idea why when I use the quote function and am typing underneath it the text box jumps up and down and I can't see what I am typing? It does the same, after using quote, when I try and highlight text to bold or change colour. It driving me nuts.

There are two simple solutions: 1) Ban Didle, he posts most of the crap that slows this site down 2) Do away with images full stop. It's a forum, not a gallery. |

I bet Wendy is using ie - as it seems to be a common fault on many forums (it does the same on tw for instance) if you want to use a great deal of text in your reply (including the quote).
If I know my reply will be quite lengthy, I tend to type it up in Windows and simply cut and paste into the reply window - not perfect I know but better than trying to type blind!
