Interesting story and probably a fair decision but would be interesting if this was Rooney, Gerrard, Ronaldo et al, do you reckon the FA would have the balls to ring up these clubs and tell them that not only has their appeal been rejected but he will also sit out another game?

Thanks for posting Danny, it looks like people have deserted the place over the last couple of weeks.

As for a four match ban being a fair decision, not for me. I think its a ridiculous decision, he slapped the guy across the face. Hardly any force behind it. The referee was right to send him off because Aliadiere raised his hands but to sit out so many games for that is stupid.

Let's put things into context. Although unintentional, the Birmingham player gets a three game ban for breaking somebodies leg. No way should you get a longer ban just for slapping someone.
