I watched it and thought it was alright, nowt special like.
If they do make a series out of it, hopefully the attention would shift more to the young Del Boy as the guy from the Inbetweeners was good but not really given much time.

Danny, is the Inbetweeners any good? I'm curious because they are going to be carrying it starting this week on BBC-America.

I saw it a couple of times and found it quite funny. Never really got into it because my shifts always clashed

Thanks for the reply Squidgy. I'll check it out. It can't hurt to have a look then if it's poor, I'll move on.

its fookin immense! funniest thing on the box for ages. think there is a third series on its way too! seems to be gaining mainstream popularity at an alarming rate though, which is never a good thing - look what happened to Gavin & Stacey! Quite liked Rock & Chips btw, nowt spesh but would watch it if they made a run out of it.

As others have said, its fantastic, one of funniest shows ive ever seen. seems to be gaining mainstream popularity at an alarming rate though, which is never a good thing - look what happened to Gavin & Stacey!
I think its been mentioned that the third series would be the last so i cant see a danger of outstaying its welcome or of it getting dull. Although, there's been talk of a film being made at the end of that, i think as a way of just concluding the series.

Rock & Chips -
I really liked it. The thing is if you looked at it expecting another Only Fools with clever witty comments every other sentence then you won't have been that impressed. It was more of a drama with a few funny bits than a comedy with a few serious bits. I personally thought it was clever writing and the best thing the BBC have come out with in years (I haven't given Gavin & Stacey a chance yet).
Inbetweeners -
I'd never seen this before a coach trip to Fulham in November when we had both series' on the way there and back and it's brilliant, in my opinion. I thought it'd be one of them that if you aren't 15-20 you won't like it but I thought it was hilarious and can't wait till the third series.

I agree, a drama yes and to be fair it’s a pretty good one but a sitcom it is not. Phil Daniels looks ridiculous in it and the guy from the Inbetweenies looks a bit like a erm… a young Phil Daniels.

I know it's Jay from that who plays Del but is it also Neil who plays Trigger or did I imagine that?

I have no idea, I'll go look it up.
No you're dreaming, Lewis Osborne plays Trigger whilst Blake Harrison playes Neil Sutherland.

The guy playing Trigger was pretty poor IMO. I reckon the guy who plays Neil would have actually been very good in that role.
