Looks pretty good, but with all these new features I hope it doesn't take up a lot more memory than 08 does!
One complaint about the 3d engine, it looks like your playing in an empty stadium, I hope they sort that out. Not played FM Live so it'll be new to me, probably get it on the cheap sometime over Christmas.

yeah i hope stadium looks better but Miles said that its only 50% done at the mo so im guessing they'll improve it alot before the demo.
Also hope it doesnt take up much more memory, my pc only jus met min spec this time round so obviously im gonna have to buy some more RAM, just hope it isnt too much, otherwise wont be able play the game till christmas when i get a new pc.

My laptop should be fine, it's just low on memory due to all the crap I have to install for uni.

Looks ok, nothing special. If I get it I may stick with the 2D option, it gives you a better idea of where all your players are.
They need to put a crowd in the stands!

Aye, got it yesterday at 4, played it for the first time at 11 Some major cock up with the activation process which actually meant that the pirates they were trying to ban played the game before people who actually bought it. But now i can actually play the game its good, not really gotten into yet but once i do ill waste most of my life on it as usual

Tempted but got loads of uni work to do at the moment. Buy FM and fail my modules or pass my modules and leave FM until Christmas.
Decisions decisions... hmmmm

Bought the game on day of release... £27.99
dodgy key code so i took the game back, got a £27.99 Lamestation voucher.
Bought the game again the other day, now the games £29.99 so i had to pay an extra £2
The cheek...
Atleast it worked this time, i've heard loads of trouble regarding system requirements and so on but my pc runs the game quite smoothly.
Trying to get Sega Genesis from the northern premier league into league two...

Good luck to you. I've tried it in the past with these lower teams, if you don't get promoted in your first season, it's very tough to do it at all.

On last years game i managed to reach the championship with Oxford but was never going to make the prem even if i played it for another year. Oxford will be alot easier though than Genesis.
Im Northampton on this years game, struggled in first season due to having no strikers capable of putting the ball in the net but i still had the best defence in the league so managed so finish 12th. Just started my second season after spending most of my weekend on it and brought in a couple of goalscorers and going well, even knocked Bolton out of the Carling cup!

My degrees about to go down the drain. Ordered it off Amazon on Thursday, hope to get it one day this week.
£16.97 including delivery, bargain! FM08 is still dearer than that in the shops!

Not a bad game, mine has a few problems and I don't really rate it in comparison with FM08 but still always nice to have new version. £16.97 is quite a good price.

Got the first two LMA games and got one a couple of years ago, too easy IMO.

Nah, FM is the closest to management of any of the games out there IMO. Not really got into 09 properly yet but ill try again when the next patch comes out with the latest transfers out.

Got it yesterday. Not too keen on the 3D match. I changed it back to 2D, it helps you see things a little bit better I think.
Just started with Bolton, just to get into the swing of things. If it's possible I'll look into setting up a network game.

Just got back into it! Figured that I criticise Megson a lot these days (not that I think its not warranted), and so thought it is only fair that I have a go at taking on the Whites myself.

Ive recently started getting into again too. Started with Bolton and already close to the end of my second season (was off ill yesterday ) and im going for the Megson approach in building for the futute, the only difference being ive spent about 3 times what he has and sold most of the current first team squad Going well at the moment too, European qualification is on and if i have a strong finish to the season, it'll be Champions League I think a network game would be interesting too, we can see who truly is the top dog around here then, after all my fantasy season has gone tits up now

I'm going to pass on a network game actually.
We'd need a few people to commit to it and we'd all have to be online at the same time aswell. Considering that amount of time you can spend on the game I think it'll be a bad idea!
