No, she changed her story to say that he would be offered the job by PG but couldn't guarantee that he would take it Which is, of course, beyond incredulity Natasha was actually correct when the story was first posted - Irvine was the number one choice to replace Megson, but events since, i.e. the success of OC at Burnley and the recent form of Preston, together with PG finally listening to the fans (including himself), have dramatically changed things. |

How the fcuk would I have inside knowledge of whether Irvine would accept the job, I'm not his agent.
He was offered the job, I can only presume he turned it down. But as I haven't spoken to my contact since before Xmas I have no idea of the full story.
