I know its not a huge thing but whys itv and c4 teletext and maybe some other channels i havent checked suddenly taken nearly everything off there teletext pages, makes no sense to me.

Normal Teletext (i.e. that what used to be on "normal" Tv under ITV, C4 channels has now stopped broadcasting and has closed down for good, although subtitles and a limited regional variation does still exist.  The only "teletext" branding now is for teletext holidays on certain channels only (not ITV).  The same applies to areas that have gone digital, such as Granadaland, where the "Teletext" services has also ceased broadcasting.

BBC's Ceefax and Sky Text are unaffected

Maybe because no-one uses it anymore and people use the internet for their source of info?

True but its easier to find some info from teletext than loading the internet up then findind it out on there.

Like i said this is just a pointless thread lol

Terrestrial Teletext has pretty much gone for good, the modern digital equivalent should be working fine.
