8 wins, 11 draws, 17 defeats.
Another stat is that we have only won 2 league games in 2009 by more than one goal.
Is that good enough? Personally I think that is so poor, we're not even averaging a point a game in the last year, its just not good enough.
2009 as a Bolton fan has been extremely disappointing. I have felt very flat as a Bolton fan, very very few highlights and things to get excited by. We're just going nowhere right now as a club, I can't see how we are going to get better and improve whilst things remain like they are.

Thoughts on Bolton in 2009?

boring, uneventful, failure.

Can anyone name me a stand-out moment in 2009? Seriously, there isn't one.

2008 we had Madrid and the final five games.

2007 we had Bayern and United.

I can, it happened an hour ago.

Somehow, in someone's mind, not just someone, but a supposed Premier League manager, saw sense in bringing McCann on for Ivan Klasnic. I mean, seriously come on. I'm still in disbelief here. This really was the 2009 stand-out moment. I was in less disbelief when Okocha scored that cracking goal against West Ham to keep us up in 2003. I was in less disbelief when Man United won the Champions League in 1999. I just cannot for the good of me get round this shockingly bad decision.

Hang on a minute! Mr Megson has just said that this was the best decision of his managerial career and it was our fault that the team lost 2 vital Premier League points.

I hope you're not calling our Gary a liar Shocked

They were bottom of the league when I arrived...

2+ seasons and millions of pounds on and we are a whopping two places higher.  Cheesy

I actually pissed myself laughing when he made that decision and looked at my mate and we both just went... oh sh1t. And then says post-match "well I did the same decision against West Ham and we beat them", SO WHAT? It's still awful decisions and that's why you are now sacked you useless moron!

As soon as I saw McCann warming up, I turned to my mate and went "Klasnic for McCann" and like 5 people round me just went. "fcúk!"

When has the 4-5-1 worked for us?

Suddenly I can think of a standout moment in 2009. We left it late though!  Cool
