Just got a ps3 for xmas and found some really good things you can do on them compared to the 360 like watch bbc iplayer and its got a built in wireless internet receiver....so i was wondering if anyone on here had one and what other stuff you can do on them that you cant on the 360....cheers 

By the way how do you register your ps3 so u can link it up to our pc/laptop...

I have one. Got Play TV for Christmas which is basically a little Freeview box that lets you record programmes to the PS3s hard drive.

Over here you can get youtube, news, weather channel, movie reviews and previews and such via your PS3.  We can also live stream movies and TV shows that are available via "Netflix" www.netflix.com.  Do you have anything like that in the UK?

I'm sure I'm missing some other stuff that we get.

Get yourself Uncharted 2, it's probably the best game i have ever played.

It got game of the year, and Naughty Dog are always making Multiplayer better.

It certainly does sharps ive heard alot say its just like the 360 but IMO its just alot better..........does anyone know how u get a wireless ps3 remote to work btw i got one yesterday n all it does is flash its lights n goes off.

fiddle about with the settings , theres a specific option for bluetooth remotes its in the same bit that the wireless headset option is.

I've owned both an xbox 360 and ps3... I currently have an xbox 360 and I can tell you, after having both, there's barely any difference in the two.

Both pretty much do the same thing, the only main differences are how the 'dashboard' screens look i.e. if you're flicking through media or whatever. I don't understand how people can say 'ps3 pisses all over xbox' or vice versa, because there's barely any fcuking difference!

The graphics aren't better, they're the same. Noise levels are the same. Yes the online is free but the console package itself is more expensive than the 360 elite, which gives you more memory as well, so overall the cost works out at the same, if you do decide to get xbox live that is
