Ill be at the game, should be a cracking atmosphere. With no league game following hopefully the ginger one will put out a full strength teamand we can sneak a win which we can defend with our lives for at their place.

They look like a team who defend well away from home, they've scored few goals on their travels but conceded even less.

At home they're excellent at going forward, one of the highest scoring teams in La Liga. Hopefully we can give it a good go at home and see what the situation is going into the 2nd leg.

I bloody hope not, I hope we go all out and attack them from the off at their place! There was nothing better than us celebrating a goal in Munich, I just hope we get the chance to do it again in Madrid!

I rekn we'll win 3-1 starting with the same team as against pompey except hunt in for steinsson because hes cup tied. We should be fresh and they shud be fielding a half strength side because theyve got a league game on the sunday...valera and aguero are injured to i think which will help...aguero is absolute class!

Diouf, Davies and Matty Taylor to score

I then think we'll lose 2-0 away and go out on away goals lol!

Forever an optimist!

A "sell-out" on the cards! Never thought we'd see that.

We need to get a good result on Thursday. A win or a goalless draw is good for us, but a score draw or defeat will put the ball in Atletico's court. We need to start brightly and try to get our noses infront.

I'll go for 1-1 at the Reebok. Taylor for us to make up for Saturday, Forlan for them.

Diouf may be a spitter he may be a cheat but he's still a bolton legend, what a crackiing game by him tonight, this is a special night in out history & by far the best win in the shor time i've been following the club hopefully were this commited in the 2nd leg & surely matty Taylor isn't far away from scoring.

Whilst i agree with you Re Diouf, i gotta say he was very lucky to still be on the field. He raised his head to the Madrid player not once but twice and although this isnt exactly headbutting a different referee probably would have sent him off. Great performance from the team again, maybe a little unlucky not to get more.

The whole incident was right infront of me. Terrible tackle, took the players legs, but it doesn't help when the other 10 players come running over.

Deserved yellow card, possibly lucky to stay on following the head to heads. I notice the same thing happened to him in the second half, none of our players moaned at the ref and their guy got away jack free!

What a coincidence their guy was sent off for spitting and our own gets the winner!

Only half way there though, 1-0 isn't too bad for them but that will all change if we can get the first goal over there! Was brilliant when we scored, the place erupted! Cheesy
