I found it quite funny personally. If it had happened to England the poeple of Ireland would have been rejoicing and dancing in the streets. So I say hahahahaha to the Irish and wish them an enjpyable summer  Cool

Yes it might be instincts, but Henry has built up a Legend reputation around the world over 10 years, when you say Henrys name in the future i will remember him for this spineless handball, not all the wonderfull goals he has scored, if he would of owned up to it straight after he did it (the right thing to do) he would of been a legend for ever.  I remember a certain Paulo di Canio against everton, he will be remembered forever for that bit of genius sportsmanship, also ian right when it wasnt a pen against man u and pleaded with the ref.

What a load of crap. For a start he did own up to the handball, and as he rightly stated, it's upto the ref to spot it.

Anyone who says they would have owned upto the handball is a bloody liar.

Ding a ling a ling!  Wake up, u obviously didnt watch the game as he run around like a mad man after the goal went in smiling and smirking, it didnt just hit him he flicked the ball to his foot.  He has to come out and give statements like that as the cameras make him look like an idiot.  This kind of cheating will go on if idiots like you try to understand it and accept it.

Exactly.

Anyway, to get around this would have been answered by simple video technology. Seriously, anyone who is against video technology in situations like this, WHERE THE GAME HAS ALREADY STOPPED, is a complete fool. All the ref would have to do is go to the video ref, take ONE look, see it's a hand ball and start the game again with a free kick to Ireland, and yellow card Henry. It wouldn't have delayed the game in any way and would have stopped all this controversy.

Thing is, other sports around the world aren't run by idiots, whereas football is.
