I've not seen the latest on him but I'm guessing he must be screwed big time. Don't professional footballers have clases in their contracts stating they can't ride motrobikes?

Even if the injuries don't end his career, isn't he in breach of contract?

He probably does have a clause in his contract that prevents him riding a motorbike, so I suppose that Spurs could terminate his contract if they wished. His contract is actually up at the end of the season anyway, so they may well just pay him off in January, and then he can sign for somebody else once he's made a full recovery.

I would expect that he has his own personal indusrance to cover loss of earnings whilst injured though - unless there is a clause in that as well that procludes him from riding a motorcycle
