Five of our own died in a single incident. A disgruntled Afghani police officer with (alleged) links to the Taliban.
I think we have all become numb to news of military deaths in that part of the world (I do and feel ashamed of it).
How many of our own have to die? We are never going to sort out the issues in that neck of the woods. Why don't we just get the fúck out?

How's he a coward? He'd be a coward if he sat back & did nothing in a French sort of a way. I'm not saying the rights & wrongs of it, just that your comment seems very odd. This shouldn't be a political issue, it should be a society one.

He said why dont they pull them out as it isnt our fight , Gordon Brown is the one that refuses to do that and who has the power to do so. Sucking Barrack Obama's cock and bowing down to that star spangled shite is obviously more important than the men and women who fight for queen and country.
What dosnt make sense about that?

BWFC, A poignant timely reminder of how much we back home take for granted whilst our children are serving over there.

BWFC - enjoyed the video mate (especially the bit with the Iraqi kids dancing around with the squaddies).
Just brought home how bloody young so many of our lads over there actually are.

Thats my lad dancing with the kids, love him to bits. He`s made one from Afghanistan but cant you tube it due to locations,i`ve watched it and it really brings home the dangers these boys face every minute of there tour.To many to young...enough.getting a bit emotional now.

Will do thanks Sluffy. I watched Question time the other night,Kilroy Silk made a remark that really hit home. He was going on about how our lads (dead or injured) having arrived at Brise Norton are not being represented by the presence of any government party......PM....Deputy PM....Armed Forces minister....not even a back bencher. As he said its a disgrace, the familey`s deserve better as its this Government that put them there, and has the power to withdraw them. Now i`m not saying we should not be in Afghan but i some times question why, when the corruption and questionable allegience is against all we strive to do for these people.

Sadly 10, that will never change mate,
Some people question have we really achieved anything in Iraq?
Karzai has been accused of corruption on a grand scale (vote rigging).
So if it's happening at such a high level??
I think Obama's recent attendance at the repat of U.S troops last week should show to Brown and co that it would be incredibly appreciated, if not on the streets of Wooton Bassett, on the the tarmac at Brize!
