very good. Just started as Chorley in the Northern PL Division 1.

I've just bought in N'Diwa Lord-Kanaga. (Remember him) I just remember him better as "N'Diwa" who once made it into our team page for the 'PL sticker book'

In fairness i only bought him because he was a 'lord'

Not getting it this year. Got bored of it pretty quickly last year. There's too much bloody stuff on it these days.

Totally agree Manny i dont see the point of the 3d mode, like there also used to be on LMA Manager, its just pointless you cant actually play like fifa so just stick to the basics of the game.........Premier Manager 1998 for the Playstation.....now that was a football manager game n half.

There always riddled with bugs to begin with and it takes them about 5 months to sort out the issues.  I will be getting it but not until February as Im not paying for a game that has its faults.

Its very good! It seems harder than last year, probably just needs some getting used to.
Bolton got relegated on mine. Im now manager of sampdoria, completely revamped a shíte team and near the top now Smiley

Much improved on recent years in my opinion. Manny's right there's an awful lot going on with the wealth of stats and many different things you can do tactically, financially, training-wise, even on the pitch. But it's still the king of footy manager games and has been for over a decade for me. One of only three games I buy a year now.

Droylsden so far, 5-5-2 from 12 games, just bagged the manager of the month for September. Gotta love managing a load of posties and binmen!

Decided to do a game as Bolton.

I've been up and down the league.

Been as high as 2nd(for one game)

and as low as 16th(for one game)

I'm currently 7th.

27 games 12 wins 6 draws 9 losses.

Both Taylor and Gardner got crippled within a week of each other in November meaning i have no left mids. Gardner did his cruciates 7-8months out. Week later Taylor broke his leg 6-7months out.

I managed to get Kirean Gibbs on the last day of the January window. Paid 700K up front for a 6month loan but he is very good and will fill the gap until my players come back.

I'm still playing the 2007 version on 2-player Shocked

Anelka has gone, but I replaced him with Adebayor.

Bowton stayed up, finishing 14th.

My mate was Arsenal, he got relegated and sacked Cool

A month later and after 1 point from a possible 12 I'm now pleading with the board to keep me on. LLM IS the future though, wonder who will gamble on my useless management style next after Droylsden cut their losses?

Finished 7th with Bolton on last day of season sneaked into UEFA Cup.

16 wins 7 draws 15 losses

It was a very close last day of season- Chelsea, Liverpool, City, Spurs, Man Utd was the order going into the last day of the season- all of them could win still win the league.
One matchw as Liverpool vs Chelsea- it appeared winner wins the league.
Liverpool 1-0 Chelsea

BUT
City 2-0 Birmingham meant that City and Liverpool both had same pts AND same goal difference meaning it went down to goals scored. City won the league.
Chelsea losing meant they went down to 4th.
However Man Utd(5th) won the Champs Lg meaning that they got the Champs Lg place and Chelsea ended up in UEFA Cup.

Bastards Wigan also survived on last day of season.

I'm currently 9th in 2nd season with a couple of games in hand- win both and i'd be in 3rd.

My team:

Jussi

Steinsson
Cahill
Jagielka (6M)
Samuel

Beckham (Free)
Muamba
Jadson (Free)
Gardner

Milevyski (4.5M)
Elmander

Subs:
Al Habsi
Andrade (Free)
Ricketts
Chung Yong
Taylor
M.Davies
K.Davies

Other players bought include: Kyle Bartley(Free)-Arsenal released him- Scott Muggleton(20K) REALLY good regen keeper from Huddersfield

Main Sales: Hunt (5M), Shittu (800K), McCann(950K), S.Davis(2.7M), Riga (2M), Knight (4.5M), Bogdan (500K)

Haha. The advantage of QPR being minted and on the look out for average players.

Although i was reluctant to let him go. Hunt is always quality on FM-last 2 games he's been miles better than Steinsson.

Beckham on a free was on a bosman when his contract ended i believe.

3rd season and i have finally taken Bolton to the Champs League finishing 3rd. Also won the FA Cup! (I had the easiest run in history until the semis- it was Coventry, Notts Forest, Derby and Ipswich
